I do not recommend it for purchase because it is completely unreliable for the considerable amount of money (40 euros) it is worth. It constantly needs to be reset (it is not even mentioned in the instructions how to reset it, luckily I found it in a video on YouTube, you press the central button for 20 seconds along with the return button), when you are listening to music suddenly it needs to be reset, it has happened to me that it needs to be reset after every song, it can freeze while locked and need to be reset again (if the reset is successful). Whenever you plug it in to charge (while it is off), as soon as it is fully charged you have to turn it off otherwise the battery drains (!). I mean, I had plugged it in to charge while it still had battery and the next day when I went to use it, it was empty!!! In all other aspects it receives a very good rating (sound-capacity-menu-screen-clip-satisfactory construction). I am very dissatisfied with this product, it is the first time I publicly evaluate something negatively. I have had it for about 1.5 years and the usage hours are not too many, while of course it has not suffered any impact to justify the above. Thank you.
Excellent. Very convenient that it is small in size, very powerful intensity, good autonomy, takes SD. Just what someone needs to listen to music without having a mobile phone.
I have been using it for about a month.
The usage I make is almost exclusively radio listening during my urban commutes.
Its menu is quite good. It could be a little faster at startup, of course. The Greek menu is good but not perfect (for example, it translates the time as "χρόνος"). In order to display Greek song titles correctly, Greek language should be selected from the menu.
Its radio is quite good. The only downside I noticed is that it produces some minor interference when moving. I would also like it to have a recording function.
The memory card (micro SDHC - not included in the package) is easy to insert but quite difficult to remove. However, the 8 GB of built-in memory is sufficient, so I don't think it's a problem.
The two timers it has are positives.
As for the songs, it plays them quite well and loudly with its headphones.
With a few hours of use every day, the battery lasts me several days. The truth is that it doesn't charge very quickly, though.
The clip support it has is quite good.
EDIT August '19:
(in case it happens to someone else)
After two and a half months of smooth operation, the clipjam started experiencing frequent freezes during radio operation. MP3 played just fine. The problem was solved when I changed the menu language from Greek to Spanish (even though it worked fine with Greek for about a month)...
EDIT March '20:
The problem with the radio reappeared in March and couldn't be fixed. I didn't have a chance to use the warranty because I lost it...
I am very dissatisfied with this particular purchase. First of all, let me clarify that I have been a user of mp3 players for about 10 years and I use them almost daily. This specific product has very low sound volume. When you increase it to the medium level, it asks you every time if you want to increase the volume even more so as not to damage your ears, which is very annoying for everyday use. I bought new headphones because the ones it came with were useless... and the situation improved slightly. Another downside is that when you charge the mp3 player, it keeps playing and doesn't turn off. Its menu has some options that are pretty useless, without much substance, and only confuse and delay you during navigation. Finally, after 2 months from the purchase, it never turned on again... and it doesn't charge... it's completely dead and I'm trying to figure out the warranty situation. The only pros I can mention are its appearance and size. I discourage you from making this purchase... even if it cost 10 euros, it would be a waste. I hope no one else falls for it like I did, and I hope I helped you.
I have been using it for 4 days, the sound is quite strong enough, it just needs to be adjusted to Rest of World as the other options have volume limitations, but this also depends on the headphones you will use (obviously, I don't use the ones that come with the mp3 player). Very good and clear sound (also depends on the headphones) and good battery life. Durable construction. I used the Sandisk clip Sport for years and I can say that the Clip Jam is better as the smaller screen consumes less battery and it is also about 10 euros cheaper for the same GB capacity. If you want an mp3 player with a good and strong sound at a low price, then the Clip Jam is definitely worth a try.
Very good mp3, perfect for the gym as you can attach it to your pants like a clip. As for the sound, when asked to choose the country, select the 3rd option as it has no limit on the volume. This way you will be able to listen to music quite loudly.
Edit: Something I noticed is that in case it gets stuck (doesn't open or is open but doesn't respond to any command), if you press and hold the 2 buttons on the front of the mp3 for 17-20 seconds, it will unfreeze.
You listen to the music you want, it is small and you can have it wherever you want without being noticed... It can hold a lot of songs and has very good sound... the only downside is the very bad headphones (Although they are comfortable and easy to wear, they break immediately)
It is very good, the sound intensity is good at 80 percent. It lacks a little intensity but still it is very good. In use, it is simple and easy and its size is very convenient. Something very nice is a clip at the back and the hanging. If you go to the gym, you can listen to the music from both the gym and the mp3. It charges quickly and the battery lasts for many hours. When you take it out of the box, it is perfectly adjusted and you don't need to adjust anything else. The headphones that come with the box are not good at all. For its price, it is one of the best.
As for the sound intensity, you should select the region in the menu other countries and not North America or Europe, as there is a restriction on sound intensity in those regions.
It is good but the intensity is not possible, so of course it has 18 hours of autonomy but for the gym it doesn't work, it doesn't exceed the intensity of the music it plays, otherwise I used it once and it was fine.
