For the machine: it lasts about 7 years without maintenance if the water is not too hard and the pressure meets the specifications. Be careful if it gets wet, moisture will eventually get in and the motor will rust. If it rains, etc., it is good to have it wrapped in a plastic bag or under a cover, for longevity. Easy programming, all the necessary information is available online for instructions and examples. It adapts easily for home use, perhaps a bit light for a farmer. It has no capability for remote control or rain/moisture detection to prevent it from operating when it rains

It is the second one I buy in 10 years! Really a very good economical choice! It withstands the rain!

It has many watering duration options compared to others on the market, but it is more difficult to use than the older model.

I have 3 devices. The plastic broke on one in 2 years and on the second in 3 years. The third device still works. Unfortunately, the plastic that breaks is not available as a spare part, so the whole machine needs to be replaced.

The plastic broke and the rubber flew off, resulting in water running at full pressure. Luckily, I was home and managed to prevent the worst. I wouldn't want this to happen when I'm away from home or on vacation. However, while it was working, it did its job. Very difficult programming.
