  • I have had it for 8 years in my possession!!!
    I am a single man.
I only use it with softened water.
I have only changed the tank filter.
Oh, and the best part, I have dropped it down with the toilet.
    And it still works.
Those who say it's not good... should wonder what they are doing wrong!!!

I have it for 8 years now....a family of 4...countless hours of use, no maintenance, tap water....now it clogs a bit, understandable of course, the only thing I would change is that I would get the same brand again, but a bit heavier, because if the fabric is difficult it takes effort to iron it well!
Definitely a good choice for its price!

For 2.5 years now, it has been working with tap water. It hasn't had any issues, it hasn't clogged. Be careful with its use: when the iron is cold and you press the steam button, there is a chance it might release salts. If you learn how to handle the iron and let it heat up and adjust it, it doesn't release anything.

I had bought it 3 years ago for 72 euros and since then this year it got clogged with salts... logical for its price, I wonder why you would ask for something more. I went to an official singer service, they were impeccable. They charged me 30 euros for cleaning and a new filter (worth 10 euros).
Why should I buy a new one? After all, I was using demineralized water which is cheaper for me than constantly buying filters. It's true that if you push it too hard, it might leak a little water, but again, it's understandable for this category. I managed just fine.

  • I have had it for 6 years, maybe even more. A good choice for the money back then, I paid 99 euros without any damages or problems. Two days ago, it got clogged with salts, so I realized that the cost of the filters all these years could have bought me something better.
Of course, it worked hard all these years, but I wouldn't recommend it because if you want it to not get clogged, you have to change the filter more regularly than I did (2 times a year), which means at least 30 euros per year, so 30*6=180 euros.
Now I am looking for something else with the ability to clean from salts.
I just ordered a Singer with cleaning capability.

The Singer ironing system, although it appears good in technical specifications, unfortunately suffers from serious functional problems that I discovered from the first moment of use. I would not recommend it... And I was forced to buy it with closed security, as the 4-year warranty I had paid for predicted... while I wanted ironing autonomy... so it's better to choose another brand.

  • Very bad choice. It constantly fills with salt. It takes a long time to produce steam and when it does, the water or steam is intermittent. The worst part of it all is that you pay a lot of money every year for the descaler that you can't easily find. Stay away...

Very bad choice because the plates got oxidized, constantly fills with salt, and I keep taking it for repair. After three years of use, I will throw it away to buy a better one.

For its price, I consider it a fair and good choice in terms of performance and price! At an average of 75€, it is one of the few with a removable water tank, which means filling water without waiting and without steam releases. Immediate readiness in just 1 minute, ergonomic button position for steam use. Compared to a good steam iron of similar price that was used at home, it has a huge difference for the better.

I think that for the price of a regular iron, the Europa is amazing. Easy and fast ironing!
