I've had it for almost 5 years if I remember correctly, and in the meantime, I tried 2 other more expensive ones from other brands and they didn't work for me at all.
For a beard, it's just perfect! Always put a little oil on the mechanism after each use to make it last longer.
It never worked with the cable even though the charger was working, nor did it charge the battery. It gave a 2-3 day shave. The 6030 was much better at shaving
Very good hair clipper, my favorite! The previous one I had lasted quite a few years. I use it for my beard and sideburns, and it has left me completely satisfied. I would recommend buying a good USB charging cable in case the existing wall charger breaks. Also, I suggest the large bottle of oil from Wahl, which lasts for years.
For men who want to shave more sensitive areas, such as the genitals, this clipper is not suitable. For this use, there is a model from Kemei that also has a light, and its teeth at the tip are not sharp. This one is ideal for sensitive areas, as well as for general use.
I had the first one for many years... but at some point it stopped holding a charge, so now I got the second one! Very good machine for shaving, for anyone who wants something simple and poetic without many bells and whistles.
Very good trimming machine.Good adjustment, no clogging. I am currently buying my 3rd machine. Every 3 years the adjustment level stop working. I drop it quite often though. The machine works fine. 10 euro/year for beard styling is amazing value for money.
I don't even remember how many years I have it. It no longer works with batteries but with a regular cable! Bought it for 20 euros and it has paid off.
I use it for shaving or for shaping, whether it's longer or shorter.
Sturdy construction, the built-in trimmer that unfolds is very useful for details. It is easily washable, the battery lasts comfortably for two shaves. I also consider it very important for durability that it does not require oiling on the blades, which is proven because the first one I bought I have been using for about two years and it cuts like new. The cost compared to its quality is very small and it outperforms many others that are more expensive. Finally, the warranty extends to three years with online product registration on the company's website.
The only disadvantage for me is that in its shortest setting, it still leaves a minimal length (perhaps reasonable since it is not a razor).
I bought it in 2015 for 38 euros from a local store out of necessity and I still have it. I have Babyliss and 2 Phillips, which are much more expensive, and honestly, for 20 euros, it is perfect. I rarely use it now, but the last time I charged it was in the summer and now, after 7 months, I had a haircut. What else does anyone want for 20 euros? Let's not go crazy, it's definitely value for money
I have had this specific machine for three years. Very satisfied with the work it does, especially for the money you pay. Unfortunately, for me, as expected for the machine, the battery died and only lasts about ten minutes. Of course, it has had heavy use during the years I have had it (with water, without water, drops, etc.) and I will definitely just buy it again for twenty bucks. It was and still is a crazy deal.
Very good, worth its money. I have had it for two years and it's a "beast". I mainly use it for my beard, once or twice a week. It doesn't have all the various settings, but it works perfectly despite having endured rough handling from falls.
The only drawback I have found is that the blade cuts you if you use it without the "guard"
Incredible durability, very good construction, it trims and shaves very easily, it is powerful for a regular person who does not use it professionally. They will enjoy it. I am very satisfied.
It takes three times the effort of a normal trimmer to do the job.
Initially, we are only talking about beards, because it will get clogged in hair and will never cut it.
In beards, because the length adapter is very sensitive to pressure, depending on the angle and pressure you apply, the length goes up or down by 1-2 levels. The result is funny if you don't pass it multiple times to correct the cut in all areas.
You discover these things gradually, so you practically end up trimming every 2-3 days.
I have it for about two months to trim my beard once or twice a week. Very good trimming, without clogging, and even though it doesn't have many attachments, the plastic it has to adjust how close it gets to you does its job well. I haven't cut myself or experienced any irritation. It's very positive that it doesn't require oiling and it has a 3+1 year warranty if you register it on the Remington website. The battery lasts a long time. For 25-30 euros, it's a good choice for amateur use
I had read many good reviews about this machine but I was a bit disappointed. To trim your beard to a length that looks like a 3-day beard, I would say it is mediocre to bad. It didn't suit me very well. It will probably be very good for longer beards, but not for what I wanted it for.
As for hair cutting, it is also unacceptable. I am referring to very short hair, of course, and not for medium length where it simply doesn't work. It cut my hair shorter in some areas and longer in others, and overall it was relatively difficult to use compared to other clippers. It is a beard trimmer, of course, not for hair, but I mention it in case someone is considering getting it for their hair because it cuts it very short.
It broke within 1-2 months and luckily the store gave me the opportunity to get another one with the warranty
The machine for easy trimming is good, but not for very thick hair, and this is evident from its shape. The battery will go off after a few charges, but it also works with the cable plugged into the socket. For me personally, you put a little more money and get something good for more years...
I have been using it for a year now. Mainly for a "bob" haircut and I am quite satisfied with it.. One downside is that the head is not flexible, so the hair at the top of the head is not cut as much as on the sides, but without a bad result! It is powerful for trimming, with several adjustments on the additional head. It tends to get clogged a bit more easily in the mustache, but the head comes off easily and the hair is emptied. It doesn't clean the neck very well, leaving about 1mm of hair.. The positive review is because it is lightweight, the battery lasts a long time when charged, it doesn't shake when it is active, and it cuts very well for both haircut and trimming. If you don't mind removing the additional head occasionally during trimming, I recommend it!
I use it for trimming beards and it really is the best thing I have bought! Incredible value for money, much better than other well-known brands. Effective blades and I am also amazed by the battery life.
For the money it costs, the power it has is at the level of MMA Yoel Romero. It sounds like the building is going to collapse, but it shoots badly. For 20-25 euros, it cuts the threads-hairs I have on my face for fun, but it needs its passes, of course.
I have it for about a year, using it once a week in a low quantity, as I have moderate to low hair growth.
From the beginning, it would get clogged and I had to open the lid for cleaning after each pass on my face.
It is not powerful enough.
It has a bad cutting angle, resulting in irritation even on the most resistant skin.
The charging port broke, and due to its uniqueness (pin-type charger), it is difficult to find a replacement.
It's a shame, I'm disappointed.
Very powerful to deadly with a tireless blade, today it left me completely (the charger and the battery specifically) after 2.5 years. The battery after a certain period (not particularly long) leaves you, the positive thing is that it can also trim while charging, so I mainly used it that way, until it broke the charging cable and I can't find another one to replace it, rip
For amateur use (trimming beard every 10 days), it is definitely worth it, as it is cheap, ergonomic, and powerful. The absence of many attachments, the non-use of oil, and the option to use it with or without a battery make it easier for me.
A reliable product for amateur use that is worth it and I highly recommend it. Important: After each use, it is good to clean it with the brush it comes with.
