I have normal hair and slightly wavy long hair that I don't dye but I often use a steam pod, so it's slightly dehydrated. This particular mask makes the hair easy to comb, provides hydration, softness, and a scent that lasts for days. The first time I used it, I saw a big difference. My hair doesn't get oily easily even after a week if I leave it unwashed. It didn't make it oily at all. I think this has to do with the amount you use as well as the tendency of the hair to get oily or not. The one star that is missing is because of the price; it could be more affordable
