By far the best multiple USB device. I connect my laptop, wireless mouse, keyboard, external hard drive, CD writer, and mobile phone !!!! Everything works perfectly. I still have 3-4 triple and quadruple USBs that always either got stuck during transfer or recording. I saw the price and hesitated but there is no way I regret it, I have had it for a long time and it is always on. It has a switch that I never turn off, and it has never had any issues.
The accompanying cable is male USB-A on the computer side, while it connects to the hub with a Micro-B connector that is neither stable nor reliable. If you notice that none of the device lights turn on in the hub, it means that the Micro-B connector is bent !!! (it happened...)
Unacceptable.
When I have one hard drive connected, it works but at low speeds.
As soon as I connect the second one, the universe freezes.
It also burned one Memory Stick.

No disconnects or anything, take it yesterday!
The hub is very good, although after 9-10 months of use, one port stopped working. I contacted the Scroutz team and they will replace it for me.
TP-Link is a company that I particularly love. Everything I have bought from this brand has never let me down. So I also bought this USB Hub.
Flawless so far, with a very sturdy construction. The only negative for my case is the length of its cable, which in my case I wanted 20-30 cm more.
Impressive hub with more ports than you could possibly need! The long cable length made me choose it for my desktop computer and I have been completely satisfied as an owner for about 4 months now. I use some of the ports to power devices (such as a USB LED lamp and LED strip) and they work independently of whether the computer is turned on, thanks to the hub's external power supply. I haven't overloaded it with devices to see how it handles a heavy load, but it can handle up to 4-5 devices simultaneously. Lastly, the 2 charging ports are satisfactory, providing slightly faster charging than if you connect the cable to the other 7 ports. I believe it's worth the money.
Very good purchase. I have had it for a month and I use it permanently as it has the usb wifi stick and usb bluetooth stick for the wireless keyboard and mouse (it has not presented any problems, malfunctions, disconnections, etc.). It has 7 usb3 ports in the front and two fast charging ports via usb on the sides. The cable that connects the hub to the computer is about one meter long, ideal for use with a laptop, short for use with a desktop located under the desk (the cable is micro usb b that connects to usb 3 on the other end). It comes with a (bulky) transformer (second photo) to provide power to the fast charging ports. However, it is very logical considering that the charger supplies power to two fast charging ports. It can operate the usb 3 without using a transformer. That's how I use it with the desktop, so whenever I turn off the desktop, the power supply stops and it also shuts down automatically. It is visually black. The plastic on the top is glossy, while the bottom has two anti-slip plastic pieces. Finally, yes, I recommend it.
I was amazed by the quality of construction and packaging in general. It is very good and reliable. I have placed a Wacom tablet, mousepad, camera, headset, and I also use the charger for my mobile phone. Everything works perfectly. I don't know if I will ever need the on/off switch! I have had it for about a month now. Perfect!
Quite good, I haven't encountered any of the problems mentioned in the comments about the product. Generally, it is advisable not to leave USB hard drives and other connections connected after finishing your work with them and to keep the hub open because, just like any other hub, it can cause problems with USB hard drives that can even lead to their destruction
It works on Windows 10 without any problem, no matter which devices I have connected (microphone, camera, external hard drive, USB stick, digital pen...)
Purchase on 16/05/2020 and until today it works without any problem.
USB sticks, web camera (including live streaming), charging devices (tablets, mobile phones), and iPhone for connection to Mac, DJ consoles (including live streaming) have been connected at intervals.
I think nothing else is needed.

I have it for several months. It is connected to a USB 2.0 port on my PC. Several USB devices work satisfactorily (camera, bluetooth, etc.), but if I plug in a USB stick, the whole universe goes crazy. The PC freezes, file transfers get stuck, etc. I don't want to be stricter because I don't have it (obviously because my computer doesn't have it) in USB 3.0 to see if something else happens, but the same USB stick works fine if I plug it directly into the computer's USB port. However, it works perfectly for charging.

Unfortunately, a big problem - is this specific plug that easily breaks and wears out, especially if a cable hangs a little behind a desk, etc. Unfortunately, after 9 months of use and after changing 3 cables, mine gave up. The cost of implementing this plug is unacceptable. They should have used connector B instead of Micro B, even if it was 1 centimeter thicker.

The cable is a bit short if you have a desktop, but I, who use it on a laptop, have no problem.

With an on/off button for power
(it is not necessary to be powered on for low-power devices such as USB sticks or dongles for mouse/keyboard)
It can be connected to an iPad (which has a lightning port) through the camera adapter and view all the hard drives (the additional power supply on the camera adapter was not enough for 2.5" drives as well as some USB sticks --- Note: the drives should be formatted in FAT32 or EXFAT, not NTFS)
After many hubs finally the solution! Take it with closed eyes and load it with whatever you want! The two charging ports are excellent. Simply amazing.
Edit: 09/29/2020. While everything was going fine, suddenly it decided to leave us hanging. Lifespan only one year...
The biggest potato I have ever gotten. It burned two hard drives. At first, it didn't read them at all. If I put more than two, it would freeze everything and lose the signal. The cheapest money I have ever given. I broke it and threw it in the trash.
If external drives are connected, it reduces the reading and writing speed by at least half compared to when they are directly connected to a laptop PC
Excellent construction quality (especially if someone takes a look at the corresponding devices available in the market), ability to transfer data and charge through the additional (2 side) ports, fast data transfer, perfect fit of the USB plugs into the ports without random disconnections, and definitely aesthetically pleasing! The only downside, for me, is that the provided cable is quite short and probably insufficient for use in the usual distance from the desktop tower to the desk surface. In any case, I would definitely buy it again
I could easily consider it as an excellent device, but unfortunately the switch operates in a misleading way that can lead to data loss.
The ON/OFF switch does not affect the USB ports when the power comes only from the computer. However, with each press, it memorizes the state, which only applies when we connect the external power supply.
If we have the external power supply connected, the switch works normally.
The most important thing is that (according to the instructions) with this operating mode there is a possibility of data loss. See the scenario below:
- It is connected without power supply.
- I see the ON/OFF light on and I press it.
- Visually, I don't see any changes (the device is functioning normally, but the switch has changed to OFF).
- I connect a Memory Stick and start copying a large file from my computer.
- While waiting for the copy to complete, I decide to connect an external hard drive to watch a video.
- I connect the external drive and I have to connect the USB hub's external power supply so that the drive can function properly.
- As soon as I connect the external power supply, the USB hub checks the state of the ON/OFF switch and because it is in the OFF position, it turns off the device.
- As soon as the device turns off, the copy I was making to the Memory Stick is interrupted, resulting in a potential data loss.
I had instability issues (my android phone was freezing and reconnecting, and 2 out of my 3 drives were showing as corrupted on Windows) from the first day with this device, and its cable is excessively short for a typical desktop that you have next to your desk. I tried a USB 3.0 extension because when I looked for a longer cable, there was a shortage in stores in Thessaloniki. But the extension (2m + 1m which is this one) made it completely non-functional for unknown reasons.
Successful purchase!!!!
Update:
After a considerable amount of time using it, I must say that - although it is not officially mentioned anywhere - it does not fully support uasp devices. Many times it doesn't even recognize that such a device exists —> for MacOS enthusiasts.
It works perfectly with all my devices connected simultaneously.
