  Overall, I am a fan of Ray-Ban. I have bought over 10 pairs in my life from various series, whether with polarized lenses, mirrored lenses, or titanium frames, etc.

  The specific design (003/4O) that I am reviewing is a combination of a black frame with a blue gradient lens (many stores wrongly state that it is a mirror lens, as it is not as it appears in my pictures). Personally, I knew that it was not a mirror lens because I had previously owned the same model with a silver frame and I loved it until I lost it.

  To be objective towards Ray-Ban, the truth is that while they do have good lenses and frames that protect you, they have become mainstream/everyday in the sense that other cheaper glasses offer the same protection. Even Ray-Ban's polarized lenses cannot be compared to those of Oakley (for sports) or Maui Jim, of which I am also an owner.

  Do the test by looking at a TV in operation. With polarized Ray-Bans, the image just darkens a bit but you can still see. With Oakley or Maui Jim polarized lenses (those I know, it may apply to other brands as well), looking at the TV makes you think it is off. You can't distinguish anything. So you can understand how comfortable they are in intense sunlight conditions, especially when looking at the reflection of the sun on the water. Of course, we go into other details there.

  However, as I said, even though I am a fan of Ray-Ban's designs, etc., I must also give a more objective opinion. Their lenses and frames are decent and certainly not dangerous, which makes them slightly expensive for what they offer. They are value for money up to 100-120 euros. Beyond that, you are buying the name and a new design/collection.

  Quality Rayban. What can I say... The green polarized lens is perfect especially for driving. The only thing I'm afraid of is wearing them at the sea. I prefer older glasses so that the salt doesn't ruin them. I have tried other brands of polarized lenses, but Rayban is impeccable!

The lens is a comfortable dark green and the polarization is quite good. At 90 EUR it would be value for money with the prices it is currently playing, not so much.

  For a long period of time, I didn't have any sunglasses and after a long time, I bought Ray Ban Aviator again, this time with gradient lenses. At first, I had doubts about how comfortable the lenses would be in strong sunlight, but as soon as I tried them, all doubts disappeared... Incredible lenses, very comfortable and with a very nice color, the light blue drogue.   I have them for a year specifically the gold beige one. It has moderate to minimal sun protection and especially for the sun in Greece, I wore them all summer and it was really torture in the strong sun. I did it because I had lost my black Just Cavalli sunglasses that had a great lens. On the positive side, I appreciate their lightweight frame and nice design.
