Did you find this review helpful?Coming from "good and reliable" surge protectors (Philips and Legrand), I have to say that I am satisfied. Especially Legrand, it lasted over time. Philips, on the other hand, burned one of my devices after a power outage. With APC, I have been using it for years with 6 outlets being used almost 24/7 and it hasn't even heated up (800W to 1800W load). It has many protections, so it's worth every euro. If you have sensitive electronic devices, I highly recommend it.

Did you find this review helpful?Excellent quality internally and externally with only one small exception: the on-off switch does not seem very sturdy and it is probably better to use it as little as possible. The angles of the positions (it has 3+3 positions) are a practical issue and may not suit everyone.
As for its safety features, I don't need to write something that others have already written. I did not expect to see a gas discharge tube in a power strip at this price. Overall, it is top-notch for its price and probably only a step below a UPS without the battery issues and much higher cost for a proper and quality UPS.
It significantly reduces the noise on the line, especially in devices that are susceptible to interference from the power supply (speakers, amplifiers, etc.), but personally, I mainly wanted it to keep my computer safe from power surges and spikes.
Its bigger "sibling" with 8 positions has exactly the same excellent quality, it is larger and definitely worth the difference for someone who needs more.
