  It's good, meaning it protects you from mosquito bites, but unfortunately from my experience it doesn't last as long as everyone claims. When I put it on, I don't see any bites for at most 3 hours, but then they start surrounding me again, and I am in an environment with many mosquitoes daily. I don't know if it has to do with each person's skin and maybe sweat, even though I don't sweat much, but some protections for 8 hours that I read and heard about don't apply to me. Not even 4 hours is enough, I have to always have it on me for this reason.

  This is the top insect repellent lotion for mosquitoes, it contains 50% Deet and is specifically recommended for tropical areas. Personally, I use it when traveling to Asia/Africa/North America, where there is a malaria problem, and the protection it provides is more than enough. Be careful not to get it in your eyes/nose/mouth and wash your hands well after use. Of course, I also use other protective measures, such as pants/long-sleeved shirts. It is a shame to use it in Greece (except perhaps in highly problematic areas like Larissa/Evros and lakes), prefer the equivalent with IRF 2 or 3. Make sure it has a shelf life of about 5 years, so that it is a fresh product, while the new version only has a plastic neck on the bottle, compared to the old one that had a metal ring.
  Tip: Do not eat sweets and do not use perfumes in difficult areas, as it attracts more mosquitoes to your skin.

  I live in northern Evros and it is the only insect repellent that works out of all the ones I have tried. When I apply a sufficient amount all over my body, nothing comes near me even though there are hundreds of mosquitoes around (anyone who has lived here knows what I mean).

  Update 04/08/2023:
  To make it more effective, I spray it on my palm and then apply it to all visible areas of my body. Never on the face because it is very strong, I only go up to the neck and wrists.

  Specifically, as for the quantity, I spray 3-4 times on my hand and spread it on one leg, the same for the other leg, and the same for each hand. Less quantity for the neck and wrists, and a few sprays on clothes (mainly on the back).

  These are in case you are dressed in shorts and short sleeves and in areas where mosquitoes are having a "party," in areas with fewer mosquitoes, a few sprays on ankles and hands are enough.

  After use, to completely remove the smell, you need to rub the area with soap 2-3 times.
