The tools make the craftsman and the craftsman makes the tools!11111, I have been using it for almost a year in professional use (almost 3000m²) on a daily basis, I have changed 12 pairs of discs (Disc for Bosch angle grinder with a cutting disc diameter of 125mm), I have extended the cable and I have also added a vacuum cleaner. The maintenance of the tool, if possible, can be done on a weekly basis by loosening it and cleaning it with contact spray while at the same time blowing it with air. It has even cut horizontal channels in beams. The tools have normal wear and tear. Coolers, switches, and rotors. If it burns out now, will I be upset? It has paid off ten times more than I expected and the money is worth it. The money I spent on movies at the hotel cost more. So, the maintenance of the tools requires time and money from beginning to end
The tool is somewhat okay for its price. However, the dealership is extremely expensive and unacceptable, as many other users have mentioned.
After a few years of sporadic or intensive use in personal renovation, the tool started throwing sparks. I opened it up and the wires from the carbon brushes were not making proper contact. I searched on the European site and the carbon brushes were priced at 15 euros (including Greek VAT) plus 5 euros for shipping. At the Greek dealership, which never responded to my email sent from their site, they told me the carbon brushes cost 25 euros plus 5.5 euros for shipping! When I told them, "Guys, what are these prices? The European site has them cheaper," they said it's because of the German VAT and no shipping costs. Then they tried to tempt me to bring the tool in for service. So I would have to spend one-third of the tool's price on carbon brushes, not to mention the service!
Stay away from Einhell.
Now the tool is somewhat okay, not very powerful, the discs are difficult to change position, you have to remove handles, etc. The dust absorption is somewhat okay, but I would prefer it to be a bit shorter.
For a little more money, I would have bought the Ferm with a 150mm disc and a cutting depth of 40mm (+1cm), which is extremely useful. You can even open doors with just two passes or go through drains and hydraulic systems in floors and walls much more comfortably.
Edit: I bought the Ferm and it is the worst tool I have ever had. It's big, heavy, ergonomically uncomfortable, doesn't cut well, weak. I don't know what to say, I regret the small investment! Einhell got 3 stars, but now it deserves 2 extra!
P.S. In the end, I ordered carbon brushes from abroad for 10 euros plus 5 euros for shipping. They arrived, but I modified them and the tool still throws sparks. After the Ferm, I will probably take it for service, it's worth it...
I don't think anyone would buy it for professional use... I, who bought it for amateur use (I did the electrical installation in a house), have to say that it did its job decently. You just need to know how to use it... It's not for heavy-duty tasks, generally requires a softer use to get the job done... But I think for someone who is an amateur and wants light use, it's worth it.
It's not worth even one euro. Waste of money. I returned it twice and they gave me another one, but all three broke immediately. It's not even good for butter. Stay away from this, I don't know about other tools from the company, but this one is not worth even considering. :(
After two years and one month after the warranty expired, the board that regulates the speed burned out. The usage I have made of it barely exceeds two hours in total. Einhell Hellas asks me for 80 euros to repair it, and I bought it for 100 euros... so it is probably preferable to throw it away. I tried to contact Einhell Germany to send me the board so that I can repair it myself... they didn't even answer me. Generally, stay away from Einhell... it is not worth repairing if they break, and the company's service is pathetic.
