The CS280TES is an extremely lightweight gasoline-powered pruning chainsaw, with an ES-start assist system. It features a 26.9cm³ engine, delivering 1.46hp, and its bar length is 25cm.
Extremely well-balanced and lightweight. Its robust construction and reliability make it the ideal choice for professionals.
It is the ideal pruning chainsaw for off-ground forestry work.
The handles are designed in such a way as to encourage optimal usage, requiring the operator to use both hands whenever possible. This also helps make the chainsaw comfortable to use for extended periods. The chain is very easily adjusted from the side, the air filter cover opens without any tools, and the anti-vibration system is very effective.

10 years in my possession and still, believe it or not, it has never seen a repairman. It has cut everything and understands nothing. In the end, you get what you give.
Awesome tool for the money and with proper maintenance, it lasts a lifetime!!!
I have had it for 7 years, professionally used for olives and then for cutting wood. It is very good and worth it (I don't know about the newer models, which are lighter and more powerful). For those who say it doesn't start easily, pull the choke and when it runs out of gasoline, press the bulb several times and keep pulling the choke, and you will see how easily it starts. I have 4 chainsaws and this one is really a breeze to use, and overall it is a very good choice. It doesn't even notice when cutting and can even cut tree trunks
Awesome and dog that what good the only downside of it is its weight is a little heavier than the 2511
PURCHASED on 1-3-2021. Very easy start and very powerful in cutting branches and medium-sized trunks. Ideal for pruning, it is slightly heavier than the equivalent still chainsaw and it tires you out when you work continuously, but let's not forget that it costs about half the price. Lastly, it revs high when it gets hot, so the chain spins in idle with all the risks involved. I adjusted the idle and things improved. For its price, I consider it one of the best in the field of pruning or cutting wood, mainly for stoves.
I have it for at least 10 years, the best dog tools .. damages only on consumables (buttons, knife, bubble) and after at least 5 years
The machine was not purchased randomly. As you can see in the photos, we have two. One is brand new, first-time use, and the other belongs to my father, who has had it for two years! It is reliable and easy to use with one hand. I highly recommend it!
Well, I have had the saw for about 4 years... I have 2 other large Stihl saws in my possession... I have forgotten about them! The saw is simply still the best value for money and overall the Best... I use it for gathering olives, clearing, and cutting wood, about 5 tons per year, in thick-clean olive trees and generally I have it instead of an axe. The machine has a 5-year warranty from the dealership. With good lubricated chain and proper maintenance, it doesn't notice anything (two other friends have it too). Of course, it doesn't have the versatility of Stihl, Husqvarna, or Oleomac, but it has half the price (always has) and it has the power, but above all, it is Pruning- Hybrid, I would say, because it also works for cutting down. Of course, no damages in any case. And the last thing, the dealership replaces it immediately without much fuss (did you do something wrong, maybe the customer is to blame, maybe... maybe...) whatever happens within the warranty. I hope I helped
Very good cutting- very few vibrations- instant speed control- good control in kicks- ease and comfort in cutting. DISADVANTAGES: poor visibility in oil and fuel supply and the most serious difficulty in starting after a few weeks of inactivity... I don't know about its durability because it was stolen during my semester
After three years of use on 700 olive trees, no problem with the Carvin Visco saw blade without gears, and it cuts like a hand saw
I have had it for two months and after a lot of work it has not had the slightest problem!! I consider it a very valuable tool that, from what it seems, will have a very long lifespan compared to 100€ machines that after two or three years you can't find spare parts. I hope I helped you! I come back on 9/1/21, I am 1000% satisfied, no problem with full functionality.
From the moment I got it, two things concerned me.
a. It is not "tight" and sturdy, maybe due to the use of plastic instead of the metal they used to use in the past.
b. For the job I got it for (pruning, cutting thin woods), it is excellent!
The only problem is that the exhaust catalyst gets stuck and makes noise WHEN you shake it. You will notice it when it is turned off. And the carburetor can easily get clogged. ...Otherwise, the echo is not playable, especially in pruning
After three years of purchase, the brand new product is still under warranty and with the use of synthetic oil mixture of my choice, it developed issues with the spring, bearing, and carburetor. Of course, nobody covered it.
"It rocks"
Top pruning chainsaw!
For experienced users and with proper use, it is an excellent tool.
With a new chain, it cuts (I cut olives), branches like a hot knife through butter!
Lots of power without "breaks" throughout the engine's range of revolutions.
Another example of the reliability of the Japanese school.
5 stars from me.
The machine has no vibrations. When the chain is naturally sharpened and the depth guides as well. It always starts on the first try. It has enough power to cut a trunk with a diameter of 25 cm. I highly recommend it.
Very good, starts immediately, stable, user-friendly. I use it professionally every day, from pruning to cutting large trunks, in a municipality almost without service. Superior to STIHL, direct comparison
I have had it for 3 years and it has cut endlessly. Especially in dense vegetation where a large saw does not fit, it is the best. It becomes an extension of your hand. It requires great caution because we usually hold the branches with one hand and cut with the other. So, because they are small branches, it kicks and you can cut VERY EASILY.
I found it with a 30cm blade. It is the best for me and I have recommended it to 2 more friends and they are very satisfied. I'm not saying this as a compliment, but skroutz has really helped me always find the best and cheapest. I have a passion for tools and I enjoy searching for hours
I have it for 3 years, a serious tool Japan = reliability.
EXCELLENT IN EVERYTHING. With a 5-year warranty.
Very good, lightweight and powerful
Strong, reliable, sturdy, comfortable, guaranteed Japanese!

Very nice for its price
The best professional pruning tool on the market.
It is the best for a professional in the field and economical with a 5-year warranty!!! On 28/5/20, the chainsaw has not been taken to a mechanic, it is reliable, the only downside is that it strains the wrist with long working hours.
