I have it for a while and it seems like a decent purchase! The previous reviewer tried it more accurately. I just have to add that it doesn't have any kind of memory to store values and transfer them to the computer later. The communication via RS232 is optically isolated through data transmission and we are only talking about real-time data. Apart from that, the software does a few things, it works like an oscilloscope, it produces some recordings, that's about it. It works though! The software is UT61E V4.01
A sturdy multimeter for the advanced hobbyist who requires a lot of decimal places when taking measurements. Of course, it's not enough for an instrument to have many decimal places; it must also have accuracy. That's why I tested it against the 5.5-digit DM3058e from Rigoll (last calibration 06/2022). With voltage source swing in all scales, the measurement accuracy was more than satisfactory (UniT/Rigol: -0.0144V/-14.516mV, 1.0011V/1.00190V, 9.996V/10.0036V, 29.96V/030.004V). However, there was an error in current measurement (Unit/Rigoll: 0.03uA/06.0154mA, 0.157mA/0.29558A, 606mA/890mA, 1.58A/1.98A). Additionally, it does not have the ability to measure temperature from a thermocouple. Although it has an IR -> RS-232 output for computer connection. For the €35 that I bought it for, I consider it to be a great value for money.
