For its price (140€), I won't argue, it's fine. In my opinion, I would like it to be a bit more sturdy, from the bottom to the top of the arm, so that you don't hesitate to give it power to drive it where you want. The reverse handling of the machine I can say helps. That is, pulling it instead of pushing it. Whatever suits everyone. When it hits a rock, it kicks. Breaks are necessary for both the machine and the operator. If any issue arises, I will come back.
Bought in 2014 (it was blue back then). In the first year, I faced difficulties in my new and neglected garden. Hard soil, stones... The wheels were removed very quickly. From the second year onwards, tilling became a piece of cake. Every 10 minutes, I stop the game to catch my breath, both the machine and myself.
As mentioned by others, hard soil needs to be soaked deeply to work. Stones, of course, make it difficult for such a tool, so they need to be removed.
Here, I have the opportunity to say that when I encounter a stone while digging, I make repeated backward movements persistently, the machine kicks but I continue until I unearth it. It can handle stones up to 15 by 20 centimeters. For larger ones, the help of a pickaxe is needed.
Also, when it encounters a tree root (up to 3 centimeters in diameter), it helps again, but caution is needed because the root can get tangled in the blades and they may stop rotating, risking damage to the motor or getting the tool stuck in the ground.
When the garden is "overgrown," it is good to first use the lawnmower. However, grass shorter than 20 centimeters does not create problems. Okay, they wrap around the axis, but they are usually easily removed. If any wire or root gets tangled, using pliers will help.
It goes without saying that to perform this cleaning, we temporarily remove the balance weight and turn the machine upside down, also keeping in mind that the motor has a high temperature.
I have never done any maintenance! One of the six blades has detached and spins "wildly." If a second blade breaks, I will take it for repair. And then, depending on the cost, I will decide whether to repair it or buy a new one. In any case, I am very satisfied and highly recommend it.
Very good tool with enough power to dig hard red soil. It requires caution if it encounters stones or large roots because it kicks back due to being lightweight.
I have it for several years (more than 5). Excellent for working on half an acre of land. It broke once, I took it to the dealership and it was repaired for only 6 euros!!! and it continues to work. It needs its breaks, it tells you when (it has a switch for overheating safety) and you follow it faithfully (let it cool down) if you want it to last for many years, it is electric and not gasoline-powered!
I ended up with this one after replacing the smaller model (which didn't work for even 20 minutes).
Overall, very satisfied with its performance. It did very well on rough and hard terrain (with rocks and some grass). The weight is satisfactory, not too heavy to tire you out. It may bounce if it hits a rock or very hard soil, but that's understandable.
Compared to the cheaper ones priced at 80-100€, it is much better and worth the difference.
One downside is that one blade got bent when it hit a rock, but I managed to fix it with two pliers. It could be more durable
Awesome. It does an excellent job for a 200 sqm garden. It doesn't get stuck anywhere, even if the soil has grass. The only good-bad thing is that it is lightweight and kicks a bit when digging. If it also has durability, then it will be flawless.
It is excellent, I have had it for 3 months and I wouldn't change it for anything. I trim small trees for the growing grass and the soil becomes fluffy, it is amazing.
