It is an "okay" case. Quite old, but the fact that it costs less than 8 euros and that it provides many little things inside, makes it okay for use with an old and SLOW disk.

As others have said, the cable is a bit strange, but it was read by my computer after some acrobatics.

Good case, quality construction, the USB 2.0 limit is around 30-32 MB/sec when connecting both USBs together, you don't see any higher speed. The second USB is for older motherboards that require extra power for the disk to function, not for faster performance.

The only downside is the cable it came with, which was faulty and kept losing connection. I replaced it and everything is okay now.

It is USB 2. It has not reached over 29 MB/s in write speed.

THE GOOD: I have had it for 5 years and it still works.

Using both USBs on the laptop, I haven't noticed any difference in speed. I have never connected it to a transformer

Amazing case for a hard disk, it has an excellent shell and seems to be spacious inside for the disk.
The package includes screws and a screwdriver, as well as a protective pouch to protect the case from dust.

The disk seems to tighten inside, so it looks okay. Easy assembly. For unknown reason, it comes with a double USB cable, I don't know how this could be useful. The packaging includes a small screwdriver and an extra screw, which is a positive thing. It could have a lower price since it is not USB 3.0

I use it as an external hard drive for Cosmote tv, after I had a hard drive from a broken laptop. No problem. Very satisfied

Without having prior experience, I have to say that even though it is cheap, it is very good. The frame is made of aluminum, which gives you a sense of quality. It comes with a soft leather case. It has small screws inside for fastening it and a screwdriver to tighten them. The cable has a micro USB connection to the box and a double USB on the other end in case extra power is needed. I don't need it for 250GB. I have bought two. I hope it continues to work like the first day, although with a two-year warranty, I probably have no reason to worry.
