Excellent. Better than bottled water, no irony. Good water flow for what it is. 2-3 seconds longer to fill a simple glass compared to regular tap water. Be careful with the igniters; if the plastic wears out, you'll need to find replacements. I saw female replacements sold individually, but the male ones are only sold in sets that include all 4 as they originally come together. I got the set for 5 euros from a store after A LOT of searching. I hope to save someone the hassle.
IMPORTANT!!! The lady at the store told me that something is going on with the suppliers in Japan and they have stopped sending both the filter and its replacements, and they are waiting to hear news for now. The filters are now fake. Lightweight, without a glass top to see their condition. The definition of quality degradation.
It's the best! Easy to install, use, and change the filter. The filtered water it produces is crystal clear. In my opinion, it surpasses in quality and performance every other filter on the tap as well as those under the counter, etc.
I give fewer stars because now the lid cannot be removed to see if it has actually gotten dirty to change it, so they force you to do it based on the weather and that is not a measure of comparison. Someone might drink one glass a day and another 10. It's tragic what they did but also very clever for selling. It still remains the best filter. But let's take another hit as consumers.

While I have been using it for several years, the latest replacements have changed and now it no longer has the little window to see from above if it is running low. This, along with the fact that it seems to clog more quickly than normal. Once the replacements I bought run out, I will switch to a different brand afterwards

I have had the filter for almost 4 years. The last replacement reduced its flow significantly in just a month. It feels like I've had it for 5 or 6 months. They have lowered the quality while keeping the same price. We will probably need to switch companies.
After two purchases I made in the 1st month, it stopped producing water and only dripped a drop that you need to have a lot of patience to fill the glass. Also, the 2nd one had a leak at the top.
Unacceptable product after 1 week the water smells like chlorine just like the tap it doesn't filter anything! The change to gray letters is unacceptable! The quality has changed and it doesn't filter anything anymore!

It does what it promises, and the water is aesthetically better. I was recommended by a specialist to reduce the salts I intake. Regarding the new replacement filter, I sent an email to the company in Japan, where I received the following response translated word for word from English:
"We sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused by the recent changes to the replacement filters. To comply with EU regulations, we made some modifications to the MKC.EG-EU replacement (the filter you mentioned). Specifically, the logo has changed to silver, and the transparent cap has been removed."
Personally, I am satisfied with the response, as it comes from their headquarters in Japan.
I have been using the filter for almost five years now and I am very satisfied, but I have been very concerned after reading the latest comments regarding the batch with the silver letters because when I used the last one I had with gold letters, immediately after I bought a set with silver letters to have them, since I also supply my parents who I have bought the same device for. As soon as I opened a package of the new ones and seeing that they indeed do not have a cap on top, even though the design suggests otherwise, after reading all the comments, I think this is not a problematic batch but a counterfeit of the genuine product with the gold letters and the cap. I will try them and will get back in 1-2 weeks. For now, I am giving 2 stars for the anxiety I have after what I read.
I have shared my opinion about the Toray in the device. Excellent! A relative needed it and I got the device and replacement again!
There is no longer a lid with a glass panel underneath so you can see the condition of the filter! While there is a design that shows that it "supposedly" exists. Tragic!
Pure disappointment, no relation to the previous one with the golden letters which lasted up to 4 months, during summer when we consumed much more water. This one, after just a month and a half, has already started to taste and smell bad.
Quality product! It does an excellent job and gives the water a crystal-clear taste. Previously, the filter had a window on the top where you could see the inside, but as I was informed, the Japanese manufacturer closed the window to eliminate any possibility and suspicion of dust entering the interior. I am a fan of Japanese products from water filters to cars.
Very good filter that does what it promises and does not remove the beneficial elements from the water. I am a mother of 2 children and I want to drink perfectly clean water. I have tried some filters in the past but I haven't found any like the Torayvino anywhere.
While the previous ones were excellent, in the last one I ordered, the top lid does not open to see the color of the fibers and to know if it needs to be changed. I also noticed that the water pressure dropped much sooner.
It's super, it does what it says.
I've also got a replacement, the important thing is that it opens from the top so you can see the condition of the filter.
It has saved me
The new shipment of filters from Japan that arrived at the end of July does not seem to have the same quality as the previous ones with the gold letters. After 35 days, the water had started to show noticeable differences. Consuming 1500 liters in 35 days is not possible. Additionally, the fact that the cap no longer opens is definitely a negative because we could check if the fibers had darkened. A store informed me that the Japanese determined there was a 2% leak with the cap and thus decided not to include it. Personally, if I notice a quick change in water quality with the next 1-2 filters as well, I will probably turn to other companies.
Big difference from the previous one with the gold letters. Different water flow from the first minute. I wouldn't buy it again.
Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, this specific replacement {filter} with silver letters seems to be part of a defective series; otherwise, I cannot explain how the quality of Torayvino has dropped so much. If you can't find the old one with the gold letters, stay away from this series with the transparent silver.....!!!!
Since they changed the quality and now the filter and the replacement come with silver letters instead of the gold ones that the old ones had, after 2 weeks of use, the flow decreases significantly, until it gradually stops. From 2/8 until today 2/10, I have changed 3 replacement filters and 1 device. I no longer waste money and have already switched brands; I switched to Cleansui Rayon MD101 and I’m saved.
Since the middle of summer and afterwards, everything I have bought has a flow problem. After a week, the water stops running.
For some reason, since the summer I've already tried 2 of these and after a short period the water flow decreased. Now I've put in a third one and I'm waiting to see how it will work... otherwise, I will stop using them.
