The product is bulk in transparent gelatine.
It does not have a cardboard box that:
1) protects against impacts.
2) mentions the manufacturer.
3) states the expiration date.
4) protects the colors from solar radiation.

Consequently:
1) They cannot be considered airtight as they can open during transport-storage-packaging, e.g., a fall resulting in the bag puncturing, if it is not already punctured, exposing the head and causing immediate destruction.
2) Unknown products are extremely dangerous as they can create problems for your machine for which you cannot hold anyone accountable.
3) Not only do you not know when your product expires, but it is likely already expired due to issue number 2.
4) You are forced to protect the colors from radiation at the risk of damaging them as you handle them, as mentioned in issue number 1.

If the price is the same, which product would you buy?
1) in a new box.
2) in an opened-crumpled box.
3) without a box.

Keep in mind you are not gambling with the ink that may or may not be okay, but with your machine, which will be damaged or not.
