In the suburbs of Tokyo, four women work the night shift at a factory. Burdened with enormous debts, alienated from their husbands and children, they dream of an escape from their miserable lives. A young mother among them finally snaps and strangles her unfaithful, gambling husband. She confesses her crime to her colleagues, and unexpectedly, they agree to help. However, the police find the dismembered pieces of the man's body and start asking many questions. And the most dangerous enemies begin to close in.
