Having ordered the phone earlier than its release, I observed from the day of its presentation all the fuss about the small changes compared to the previous model, about how the company disappointed us, the battery didn't change, it's small, what terrible colors it has (I loved the ice blue), about how it's not worth spending so much money on it, etc.
We need to keep something in mind. The mentality of "I have the latest model" is something we should overcome. The system doesn't work that way anymore. Money for an expensive device is now an investment, not just a showpiece. Companies have learned that the costs for raw materials are high and the environmental impact is huge. An expensive device should last over time, not be replaced for fun by the very next one. That's why upgrades are expected every 5-7 years, with small differentiations...
- Is the s25 ultra a great phone? - It is. Fast, beautiful, a significant improvement with the curves at the corners for us with smaller hands, the screen is flawless, huge, doesn't reflect at all (you lose it as soon as you put on a protective glass), 1 hour full charge with a Baseus charger, 38 hours battery with settings to prevent apps from running in the background. Why should it have a bigger battery? What's the cost for?
It handles 10 apps open simultaneously without any issues and doesn't heat up at all. Photos are very good, but we laugh at the AI.
It doesn't support Greek yet for Bixby, and I'm struggling with Gemini while it works perfectly from the computer.
Personally, I don't care at all if the S Pen button works from a distance (get a camera), I use the stylus for notes, it works immediately even with the screen off. It converts to text only in Notes, not in Word. Voice translation doesn't support Greek (original!).
The AI is still a baby. It has time to develop as people become familiar with it.
- Is it worth changing from the s24 ultra? - No, man, not at all. You have an amazing device, what's the reason? Even the older s23 model, I wouldn't change it. I wouldn't.
- Is it worth upgrading from a mid-range phone? - Do you have the money? Go for it, YOU won't need to change it for 5-6 years, maybe even longer.
- Should I change my iPhone? - We laugh. Want Android? Yes. It's a bit more premium. Are you an iPhone person? Stay where you are.
- Is it worth the money? - The question is magical. Do you have extra? If you have extra, we don't even discuss it. If you can't afford it, why are we discussing it?
Flawless device. Professional. It's not for replacement unless the next model brings coffee to bed.

Upgrade from S23 Ultra, while I thought my S23 was incredibly fast when I picked it up again after the experience with the S25 Ultra, I feel that it wasn't that fast after all, it's just a rocket. The upgrade was worth it.
