  Lightweight shoe, hugs the entire foot and ankle, it's beautiful and extremely comfortable to walk in as well as to drive for many hours as it has a soft feel on the gas, brake, and clutch.   As a shoe, it is good for the gym and general exercise that doesn't put pressure on the feet. Of course, I don't understand much about these things and I bought it for light running, to save kilometers from my good pairs. Since it has materials and construction from past decades, it weighs twice as much as a €120 shoe and it shows. If you do abs on the balance board, you feel the extra weight and the workout becomes almost more efficient. However, if you run 15 kilometers, the weight starts to strain the tendons of the calf muscles and if you're not Rock Lee, you'll probably get minor injuries with regular use over time. You also get minor injuries in the metatarsal area, at the end of the arch behind the big toe. The hard materials probably contribute and cause blisters in runs over 10 kilometers in that area.

  But I don't understand any of this, so I even wore them in a 24-kilometer trail race. It was a real nightmare, but I made it through. Surprisingly, I didn't fall, not that I attribute it to the shoe. Basically, the shoe was trying to make me fall. But if you know how to run and don't do stupid things, how bad can it be?

  With all that said, the shoe has lasted about 500 kilometers so far. The cushioning in the Achilles area has just started to wear out a bit. Otherwise, it still looks and runs like new, meaning mediocre. It works for all gym workouts and will continue to do so for a while, even after I retire it from running at around 1000 kilometers. It's not bad, not bad at all.
