For anyone looking to replace their provider's modem/router:
The TP-Link Archer is a router and not a modem.

This means that it does not have a port for the provider's line cable. It is connected from the provider's modem's Ethernet to the TP-Link Archer's WAN port.
If you are looking for something that will completely replace the free modem from the provider, look for an ADSL modem.

I got it because the free modem/router from the provider did not have signal coverage throughout the house and the Wi-Fi connection was very unstable and slow (buffering and low resolution on Netflix/Disney+ movies with a 200 Mbps line). These problems were immediately solved with this router. Also, with a fiber connection, it will be directly connected to the fiber box, which would have been connected to the WAN port of the free modem via Ethernet anyway, so only the TP-Link will remain.

The application has many features - although I am not an expert - it seems to cover many needs with features like creating a guest Wi-Fi, parental controls, prioritizing specific devices, etc.

    Router without bandwidth management.

The QoS it claims to have does not run any algorithm like Asus routers, which means that in online gaming, as soon as someone opens Netflix, when someone opens YouTube even with a 100mbit connection, the lag spikes will rain.

It does not have bandwidth control and they will not add it.

It has connectivity issues with older devices.

I put an Asus router from a decade ago on the line and I relaxed.

Go for Asus, don't waste your money.

I have been using this router for about 2 months. So far, it has not disappointed me. It is stable and provides a very good signal on both frequencies. Its management system (whether through a browser or the Tether app) is very user-friendly and offers several options, including easy firmware updates from TP-Link. Definitely not a budget or value for money option, but on the other hand, let's not forget that it is a router with WiFi 6 technology, which is the latest and future-proof. There are undoubtedly much better options in terms of performance-cost ratio on the market, and I do not recommend it unless you are interested in or know how to take advantage of the supported new technologies.
