The turntable automatically stops rotating when the record finishes playing (automatic stop). You do not need an external amplifier/speaker system. The RP116W features a 2-speaker stereo system, so you can listen to songs directly from the turntable (full-range stereo speakers). However, if you prefer to connect your own speakers and amplifier, this is also possible using the RCA output (Line out). With the AUX In input, you can connect an external source to the system and play wired from the turntable. Audizio's smart suspension system minimizes vibrations, so the needle does not skip/jump the vinyl grooves, even when there is movement in the room.
