  I have experience with many pens. Many Bic, Parker, and others. For years, I trusted the cheap Bic pens. But you know something? The wise Greek people have a proverb about very cheap products in general.

  "Being cheap eats away at the quality." The Jews say the same thing in their own words. "I am not so rich to buy cheap things."

  What does this mean? It means that Bic pens and Bic-like pens are indeed very economical. But as soon as the weather changes, from cold to hot and vice versa, they completely fail.

  In other words, they don't write until the ink inside the pen is exhausted. You simply throw them away once they run out.

  Believe me, I have thrown away countless cheap pens in the trash. But never a Pilot pen.

  Why? Because in recent years, Pilot G-2 pens have won me over for many reasons. Let's see them one by one:

  • They are reliable. They won't let you down. They write until their ink is finished.
  • Don't want to buy many different Pilot G-2 pens? No problem. There are available refills. You keep your old pen intact and simply change the ink cartridge. Smart and well-designed.
  • They have a high-quality steel tip.
  • The ink flows smoothly and nicely on the paper. Not too soft, not requiring too much pressure.
  • They have a wonderful design.
  • Pilot is a Japanese company. You can imagine what Japanese quality means - perfection.
  • They have a special rubber grip where the most pressure is applied. So your hands won't get tired.
  • They have a clip to hang the pen on your clothes.
  • Their price is reasonable for their excellent quality.
  • They are available in 3 different line sizes. 0.5 [fine], 0.7 [medium, for this review], and 1.0 [bold].
  • Additionally, you can find them in 32 different colors! To choose your favorite! My review is based on the classic color, blue. I would easily buy a purple one.

  Cons

  • They smudge and don't dry quickly on glossy books.

  In conclusion, Pilot Gel G-2 pens, 0.7mm, with blue ink, are a very commendable, almost perfect product. It will satisfy almost everyone with its overall quality.

  I recommend them to those who are looking for a reliable, long-lasting, high-quality pen without digging deep into your pocket. Enjoy them!
