I bought it for skiing, but I used it with the recent snowfall in Afidnes. I drove up towards the lake with a lot of snow until my car couldn't move anymore. As soon as I put on the snow chains, my car started as if I was on a dry road.
As for spinning the gas with the soft pedal, it never spun for me.
I didn't have any problem with slipping.
Durability-wise, I walked about 3 kilometers. Everything was good, no damage even after washing it in the washing machine.
Just be careful not to turn the steering wheel if you're not moving. They might tear or come off.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions, they know more than us.

Guys, if it snows a bit in Athens, they are good! With the installation, you can't say they are super easy because you essentially have to embrace the tire, so you need space in the wheel wells to put your hands! I used them twice in the countryside! The first time, they performed excellently on fresh snow! But the second day, when the snow turned into ice on half of the uphill road, they failed us! Not to mention that they couldn't climb and they even tore due to spinning! Completely unreliable! In the end, on the same day, I paid for chains that you know will do the job! I hope this helps!

  I went to Lake Doxa for a trip to Trikala Corinthias... While everything was going well, at some point on an uphill slope, my car skidded and couldn't climb up, resulting in the right snow blanket tearing. I had to wait for the snowplow to pass before I could continue. When I arrived at Middle Trikala Corinthias, there was no trace of a snow blanket.

  Update: I bought them again and I think they have improved their quality... Now they saved me from embarrassment, even though the 2 km distance I traveled wasn't that crazy.   I tried it in a BMW coupe car during the route Arachova-Parnassos ski center. The road had a lot of ice and snow and I did not encounter any problems anywhere. Very good driving sensation without vibrations and most importantly without causing damage to the tires or rims. The only negative thing I can mention is that after a journey of about 60 kilometers, there were some signs of minor wear. Although hesitant at first due to what I had heard about the use of snow chains, the car performed much better on some uphill slopes compared to some 4x4 vehicles in front of me.
