VRM HEATSINK

The VRM heatsink extends over the rear side of the inputs/outputs to maximize the surface area and includes a VRM fan for active cooling, skillfully handling the thermal power loads of the latest AMD processors while leaving room for large CPU coolers.

High Conductivity Thermal Pads

High-quality thermal pads are used between the power stages and the heatsinks, helping to improve heat transfer and reduce the operating temperatures of the VRM.

The Strix B850-I features a chassis fan header with automatic detection for both PWM fans and DC fans. Additionally, the extra flow fan header offers users an additional cooling option, allowing for improved thermal performance for the DRAM or other components.
