Touhou Spell Carnival is an officially recognized derivative work based on the Touhou project.

Gensokyo - A land cut off from the outside world, where humans and yokai live side by side.

One day, the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, Reimu Hakurei, notices mysterious pillars rising in various parts of Gensokyo.

These pillars marked the beginning of the Spell Carnival, a festival organized by Yukari Yakumo where they must bring their magical cards into battle.

To investigate the true intentions of Yukari Yakumo, who suddenly started the Spell Carnival, Reimu Hakurei joins the battle for the Spell Books.

• Battle in a grid system with a unique combination of real-time strategy elements and bullet hell madness!
• Develop your strategic skills by moving characters to specific areas of the grid, hitting enemy bullets, and unleashing special abilities in action-packed simultaneous battles!
• Organize your team's position on the grid, assign abilities based on your enemies' weaknesses, and carefully choose your Ace spellbook.
• Items can block incoming bullets and also provide additional effects once destroyed.
• Use these incentives to your advantage and you might be able to collect extra bonuses from your victories!
• Track any active mission, replay sub-events, pose with Photo Mode, and interact with some of your favorite Touhou project characters at the Hakurei Shrine as you progress through the story!
