It was purchased with the intention of replacing the Intuos Pen Small, with the thought that the wireless connection would solve hand issues and eliminate cables. Initially, the battery life is not good. It lasts for about 2 days of work, so the cable needs to be on standby. If you are using a recent MacBook, it means a dongle along with the cable. Secondly, compared to the Intuos Pen Small, the build quality is poor. In less than 1 year, the surface shows visible wear and tear, something that the aforementioned model has not done in almost 7 years of use. Despite the wear, there are no changes in the responsiveness of the pen. Thirdly, the Bluetooth has its glitches that create momentary problems such as lagging or interruptions in sound if you have wireless headphones connected simultaneously (always for MacBook Pro). I believe that at least this model cannot replace a wired pen yet. However, when connected with its cable, it works perfectly without any issues.
I am trying to connect it to the PC. Bluetooth version without a dongle. 70€ and they are stingy with a compatible adapter. So before you buy it, make sure you have a Bluetooth adapter 4.0 and above and that it connects. I tried it with the CSR 4.0 and I couldn't make it work.
Very good tablet but it broke right after 12 months of very light use. Prefer the basic version without bluetooth, batteries, etc. because these extras probably decrease reliability.
I got it as a replacement for the mouse at the office and not for drawing. I am a developer and the hours in front of the PC led me to this choice. I don't regret it at all. I have completely replaced the mouse months ago.
The only thing I would like is to use tablet mode on 2 screens (for the use of Windows ink only).
Flawless.
Finally, you download the software just fine, you don't have any issues.
Support needs improvement, in terms of response time.
I trust Wacom. I had first bought the Bamboo Pen & Touch years ago. It still works but the pen pressure doesn't work well. It's logical since the drivers are now old.
I decided to get the small Intuos because I was used to the size and it didn't bother me. It's extremely convenient for transportation. An excellent product from all aspects. Definitely value for money. At 70€ with a cable or 80€ with Bluetooth, it's a reliable product for beginners who want to enter the world of digital art and/or photo editing, as well as professionals who need something small to perfect their art.
The download of the programs that come with the package is simple and easy.
It was purchased, unfortunately, for design and magna, stating that it includes the corresponding software. Inside there is no program, but it tells you to register which the site does not allow for unknown reasons. The process is unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming, while the site usually does not open. There is no way to communicate with the company except for endless and dead-end FAQs. Look elsewhere. Eventually, maybe after hours, something might happen. Terrible support from a company that has a relatively good reputation in the field. What a shame. In the end, in lowercase letters, it states that the free software will be valid for one year. WACOM = amateurs and thieves.
It is a Value For Money purchase. It has double the sensitivity of its predecessors, satisfactory size, and provides access to decent programs. The stylus appears improved. I recommend it.
Edit - After 1 month of use:
The free programs provided are not indefinite and are not the best in their field.
Creating an account on the Wacom website is difficult, as they have not paid attention to it at all and it has many problems (the website). Therefore, I recommend that if you plan to purchase a product from the company, create an account first.
Nevertheless, in terms of ergonomics, ease of use, and durability so far, the tablet is worthy of 5 stars.
