The RUTM52 from Teltonika is a mobile router that allows other devices, such as computers, mobiles, and televisions, to connect wirelessly and share internet access. Access is provided through the built-in modem and uses the mobile network by installing a SIM card, which must have an active connection with a data package.

It connects to the 4G network, offering higher speeds compared to 3G, as long as there is adequate coverage in the area. It supports Wi-Fi 5 generation and broadcasts signal on two frequencies, 2.4 & 5GHz. The 2.4GHz frequency offers a wide range, while the 5GHz provides higher speed but is more sensitive to obstacles.

The device offers the ability to configure a VPN (Virtual Private Network) for anonymous browsing and access to geographically restricted content. Additionally, the NAT firewall hides the addresses of all devices behind a unique address, increasing security, and with MAC address filtering, it allows specific devices to connect based on their unique address.
