Description

The Aptica XT is the new stroller from Inglesina, designed for limitless walks. Thanks to the exclusive Adaptive Cruise System, it dynamically adapts to all terrains and the child's growth, ensuring maximum well-being and easy maneuverability even in the most challenging conditions.

The Adaptive Cruise System adjusts the suspension on each wheel and ensures optimal comfort for your child at every stage of their development. Choose the Soft or Hard mode, depending on the terrain and the child's weight. It is designed to be used on any terrain and overcome any obstacle. It features large wheels (front wheels diameter 215 mm – rear wheels diameter 290 mm), is easy to handle, and offers an exceptionally smooth ride. The tires are made of rubber with a differentiated internal double coating, reducing vibrations and loads transmitted to the child and the handle from the roughness of the terrain.

Comfort on Every Walk

  • Large and well-structured stroller seat. Equipped with a ventilation system.
  • High backrest to support the child's head and body during its growth. It is fully reclining for a more comfortable position for the baby.
  • Easily place and remove the stroller seat, thanks to the practical central mechanism it has. The seat is reversible. 
  • You can fold the stroller with the seat attached either facing the parent or facing the road.
  • The backrest has a 7-position recline via a central mechanism, for gradual and controlled lowering. 
  • The footrest for supporting the child's legs extends and adjusts, allowing the stroller to be used even in a sleeping position.
  • Includes a large, extendable hood that protects from UV rays (UPF50+).
  • The breathable fabric insert in the hood ensures proper air circulation in the seat, keeping the area cool and ventilated.
  • The soft padded footmuff can also be positioned to protect the child from the cold.
  • The safety bar and footrest are made of durable material that repels water and is easy to clean.
  • The 5-point safety harnesses have adjustable height in 3 positions to follow the child's growth and include padded shoulder straps to prevent the straps from contacting the sensitive skin of the neck and shoulders.
  • The shoulder pad located between the legs is made of soft lycra fabric to prevent irritation and chafing.
  • Additions, details, and finishes in leatherette, matching the handle of the frame.
  • The fabric lining of the stroller, including the hood, is fully removable and hand washable at 30°C.

  • Aluminum frame with a single handle with leatherette detail padding. 
  • Features a book-type folding mechanism with one hand, patented by Inglesina.
  • When the frame is closed, it takes up very little space. It remains upright on its own without the handle touching the ground.
  • Single handle with height adjustment in 4 positions and covered with leatherette detail, matching the fabric details.
  • Single active brake with central control that locks automatically when activated for greater safety during use.
  • Spacious basket with reinforced base. It has reflective details for safer walks at night.
  • Integrated cup holder.

All-terrain wheels

The wheel tires are made of rubber with a double differentiated inner coating that reduces both vibrations and the pressure transferred to the child and the handle due to the hardness of the ground. Additionally, each wheel features a patented suspension adjustment system to ensure the child's comfort at every stage of their development.

    I will present my opinion on the pros and cons and what to expect from this particular stroller as we received the Inglesina Aptica XT a week ago.
    On the pros side, we have a very beautiful stroller in my opinion, compact with quality materials. On the road, we are talking about a very sturdy stroller with a very nice flow that doesn’t get stuck anywhere and has a very large storage space.
    On the cons side, we have an expensive stroller; if you want to get the whole package, you will spend over 1100 euros, but okay, that is clearly up to each person's pocket. The biggest problem with this stroller is its weight... it is a stroller that weighs 12.5 kg by itself... if you consider that the rider can weigh from 5 to 10-12 kg + a bag with essentials, we are roughly talking about 20 something kg right away, which makes outings tiring and unpleasant at times, and practically difficult for a girl to handle!

    One of the best strollers I have seen in terms of quality. You definitely get what you pay for. The stroller is very large and spacious, especially for a big baby. We also got the carrycot in which my son stayed until he was 7 months old. The regular stroller is very good, but in whichever car we put it in, we cursed the moment we bought it. It doesn't close easily; it goes all the way down but has difficulty making the click. With one hand, not even for fun. In the trunk of an Opel Corsa and a Kia Ceed, it barely fits. You might say, did you try to put it in before you bought it and knew it wouldn't fit easily because you didn't get the Aptica? But it's different to have a crying baby in the seat while you struggle with fiddly bits in the stroller to close it, and different when we tried it in the store empty and alone! It didn't seem that tragic... The most annoying thing of all, however, and the reason I want to sell it, is that if you put a jacket and the baby's bag underneath, if you place it further forward, the wheels hit the basket and won't turn. It's unbelievable that they didn't foresee this! If we go to the market and I put a bag underneath, it won't turn at all! And one last thing I didn't like is that the sunshade looks terrible when you fold it up; I will come back with photos. However, from what I saw, they must have fixed this in the next model. Oh! I mustn't forget the cup holder, which is positioned next to the baby, and I can't leave my coffee there. If it were more affordable, I wouldn't be complaining about these things... But when you use the stroller daily, some things are annoying... To conclude, the footmuff sold separately, although expensive, is very high quality and incredibly stylish and warm.

    It goes everywhere and is easy to handle. Comfortable for the child both during walks and sleep, in sun or cold, on any terrain, with adjustable suspensions, and with plenty of storage space for everything. For its category (not a stroller) it is relatively lightweight and compact. The only negative, at least in the 2022 version, was that repositioning the canopy mechanism after washing was so problematic that we decided not to wash the canopy again. But the fabric of the stroller is easy to remove and put back on.

    We got it in gray. We chose it for the reliability that the company provides, for the large wheels, and for the adjustable suspension. It is very easy to clean, closes with one hand, and has a huge storage basket. The canopy extends and has extra material with SPF 50 for the sun. It is a perfect choice especially if you live in an area with difficult weather conditions in winter, such as snow. We did not regret our choice in any case, because we cover long distances and in some places we pass dirt roads. Although we have ample storage space in the car and it fits the stroller, we chose to get a compact one for our convenience, which we always have inside. I highly recommend it without hesitation!
