  I bought it in 1996 for 14,000 drachmas. I carry it with me every day, for years I used its little knife to cut my food. The only thing that indicates that it is used is that the silver paint has come off from the point where the company logo is engraved. Immortal.

  I have several Swiss Victorinox multitools, and the Huntsman is one of the very good medium-sized models. All the company's products have only positive aspects, as they are incredibly practical and cleverly designed with top quality.

  In the Huntsman, we have:
  -> very practical and relatively lightweight (around 100 grams) that should be included in a kit with various items that we carry in our everyday EDC (Every Day Carry) bag for outdoor activities, technical work, camping, outdoor activities, etc.
  -> it has a large and a small blade that are sharp like razors (20-degree perfectly sharpened edge for general cutting), they have countless applications.
  -> just like the blade, the small scissors also cut much better than a regular paper scissors.
  -> it has a high-quality wood saw that easily cuts wood and branches of similar size.
  -> it has a bottle opener that can also be used as a flathead screwdriver and wire stripper.
  -> similarly, the can opener also has a small flathead screwdriver at its tip.
  -> on the other side, it has a hook with countless applications (e.g., lifting packages without cutting your fingers).
  -> a corkscrew that also has many applications if you exhaust your creativity.
  -> a very sharp awl that also has a hole for stitching something with fibers from a rope, and it also has many applications (you can hide a thin pin on the side where the awl rests).
  -> it has stainless steel tweezers and a toothpick (better not to use it in the mouth) for another use (e.g., resetting a router or anything else).
  -> if you want to upgrade it, you can buy a glasses screwdriver for 0.50 euros that fits into the corkscrew, which the more expensive models like the Swiss Champ have. The Huntsman may not have the above tools/components compared to the Ranger, Handyman, and the extreme Swiss Champ priced at 90 euros, which have a file, pliers, fish scaler, small magnifying glass, but it has what you need, the essentials. It is the golden ratio of tools, as compact and lightweight as possible, and the best value for money in terms of capabilities.
  -> it is easy to use and practical, and I consider it to have the basic capabilities for an average user to cope with outdoor and technical work, and all of this is in your hand.
  -> although Greek legislation is strict and peculiar about everything, it is better to be somewhere where it could be used as a tool to justify why you have it on you in a police check. In other countries, they wouldn't have an issue, but here it is Greece...
  > compact and high-quality construction, which all Victorinox Swiss Army knives have, using the X55CrMo14 stainless steel that is corrosion-resistant and has a hardness of 56-58, which is suitable for high-quality multitools with a lifetime warranty. For intensive and tough use, you will wear it out quickly, and it will require sharpening afterward (which is easily done on this steel without much effort compared to other steels). Survival knives have carbon steel that holds its edge for more cuts compared to plain stainless steels, but it has other disadvantages.
  I am very satisfied with my purchase because even though it may seem like it has a high price (I bought it for 36 euros), it is worth every penny. The company has created the best and most well-crafted multi-tools worldwide. It is better to pay for something that you will have forever and will last, rather than Chinese imitations that cost 6 euros but are of poor quality (loose joints, do not cut, rust, etc. within the first week of use).

  I bought it in 1995 and it is still in excellent condition! The only thing that broke is the spring of the scissors from excessive use. It snapped in the middle and it no longer springs back on its own, but I have to do it myself.
