• Care
• Soil: Prefers a substrate with very good aeration and drainage. A typical mix includes peat, sand, and perlite or pumice. Orchid mix is also suitable.
• Watering: Stores water for a long time between waterings. Needs frequent watering in Summer, but overwatering should be avoided. In Winter, drastically reduce watering, limiting it to about 1-2 times a month.
• Fertilization: During the growing season, apply fertilizer rich in potassium and phosphorus, but low in nitrogen.
• Location: Prefers bright spots indoors, but can tolerate darker areas as well. In outdoor conditions, shade or partial shade is ideal. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can lead to leaf burn.
• Temperature: Ideal temperatures are 16-30°C, does not tolerate temperatures below 10°C.
• Toxicity: Friendly and safe for children and pets.
