Touhou Spell Carnival is an officially recognized derivative work based on the Touhou project.

Gensokyo is a land isolated from the outside world, where humans and youkai live together.

One day, the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, Reimu Hakurei, notices mysterious pillars rising in various locations in Gensokyo.

These pillars mark the beginning of the Spell Carnival, a festival organized by Yukari Yakumo, where they must bring their spell cards into battle.

To investigate the true intentions of Yukari Yakumo, who so suddenly started the Spell Carnival, Reimu Hakurei joins the battle for the Spell Books.

• Features can offer boosts: Use these incentives to your advantage, and you may be able to collect extra bonuses from your victories.
• Find peace at the Hakurei Shrine: Explore the Hakurei Shrine through the lens of Reimu Hakurei.
• Track all active quests, reset sub-events, pose with the Photo mode, and even chat with some of your favorite Touhou Project characters at the Hakurei Shrine as you progress through the story.
