The Tao Te Ching, known for a long period as Lao Tzu, meaning the text of the old master, from the name of its considered primary author, is regarded in some way as the foundational text of Taoist thought. In other words, the spiritual movement through which the significant and unique Chinese civilization attempted to deeply explore the relationship between humans and Nature, highlighting above all the dangers posed by the separation of humans from the eternal flow of the world. And if this is, as we know, a primary concern in other Taoist texts, it is especially true in the Zhuangzi.
