The UM66T series is a CMOS LSI designed to function as a melody generator in phone and game applications. It features ROM embedded in the chip, programmed for musical performance. Manufactured with CMOS technology, it results in very low power consumption. With the built-in RC oscillator, it is possible to construct a compact melody unit.
