I would like to focus on the quality of the shirt, for which Fred Perry is solely responsible.
Fred Perry releases two types of polo shirts. The classic and the slim fit. Some sites do not mention this detail. This particular one belongs to the second category. I have it in blue with red stripes.
After purchasing two slim fit pieces, one realizes that Fred Perry produces products of very low quality and at the same price as the classic polo shirts. The fabric is thinner but mainly of poor quality.Imagine that from the first wash, by hand, with a simple dip and without rubbing, the collar fills with fluff as if you have been wearing the shirt for 3 years. Something that does not happen with the classic polo shirts.
The stitching on one of the two left a permanent mark.
Since then, I hang them without clothespins.The shirt, again in contrast to the classic ones, does not hug the body but sticks to it.
Here, one needs to be careful because it does not hide imperfections but highlights them!I would encourage potential buyers to pay attention and choose only the classic fit polo shirts of the brand, which, surprisingly, have the same price.
