A great upgrade for me after the issues I had with the Ryzen 9 9950X regarding temperatures, I can finally do my job like a normal person. We're talking about a beast that doesn't back down from anything. You might say at this price it's expected...
I was eagerly waiting for this CPU, as I luckily avoided buying the 13th or 14th, and although I am an Intel fanboy, my disappointment knows no bounds... The release was tragic, worse performance than the 14700k in many games, and in productivity, it’s not that relevant compared to the 14900k... I can't figure out who this chip is aimed at. Probably for those who want to say they have an Intel flagship and get top scores in Cinebench. Should I say it has some amazing power efficiency to be relevant for businesses? Should I say I will install it now and upgrade to the next generation? Since they will kill the 1851. Look for YouTube reviews and benchmarks, and you will understand.
The fact that nobody buys it worldwide and they have it at such a price surpasses me... Kudos to Intel. Terrible chip for gaming. All they did was reduce power consumption resulting in terrible performance, of course. However, for productivity, it is a very good chip. If they hadn't changed the platform and it was just a continuation of their 14 series, then it would make sense. Now you have to buy a brand new expensive motherboard and of course these awful overpriced chips. Oh, and let me not forget that they will change the platform after this generation, so whoever buys it cannot upgrade in the future... Stay away from this entire generation. Intel is self-destructing
Amazing processor
