Extrication is a standalone sequel to The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation and is a groundbreaking adaptation of the thriller film The Bridge Curse 2: Ritual. It is a first-person perspective horror survival game, viewed from the perspective of multiple characters, using a modern university ghost story as the basis for its plot.

The story of The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication takes place at Wen Hua University, one of the ten universities in Taiwan known for their chilling ghost stories. A group of students decides to organize the Carnival of Horror in the Da Ren building, which is filled with rumors of ghost sightings, in order to attract new members to the film club. They plan to reenact a strange case that happened on campus decades ago and turn it into a horror movie, but as they rush to shoot at night, strange events begin to occur...

At the same time, a journalist arrives on campus after receiving a bizarre letter in hopes of solving a mysterious case of missing persons from the past. After gathering a series of clues, the mystery is revealed, and a massive conspiracy shrouded in darkness is ready to emerge. As they desperately try to escape, the terrifying entity behind the ghost-infested building is gradually revealed...

With demons approaching and impending doom, will anyone manage to survive the horrors of the night?
