After 17 minutes, only the fan will operate for about 2 minutes to check the room's relative humidity. If the relative humidity has increased by approximately +3% above the desired level, the dehumidifier will enter dehumidification mode. Otherwise, the fan will operate for about 3 minutes on low speed, and the dehumidifier will re-enter sleep mode for 17 minutes, and so on.
