Purchased in September 2023 for the 40th Athens Marathon. From the first run (5km easy), the sole showed detachment from the foam around the shoe (photo). Although it did not get worse in the immediately following runs, from an aesthetic point of view (especially for a shoe of this price) it is simply unacceptable. After two long runs (32 and 36 km), a few training 10k runs, and the classic marathon (about 160 km in total), the sole had begun to detach from the foam and underneath the insole in both shoes. Since then, they have been gathering dust. In terms of functionality, I find that while they absorb most of the shocks, the thickness of the sole combined with how soft it is leads to instability on downhill sections with a slope of over 15-20%. For this money, there are definitely shoes that don't start to disintegrate from the first run.
The shoe is the best for someone who needs lightweight stability and is running half marathon times under a 04:45 pace. Everyone else doesn't need to spend so much money.
If you go to the cobbler to have the hard piece removed from the first holes that the laces pass through, it's okay.
The shoe is one of the worst I have bought unfortunately even though it is adidas I did not expect such poor construction. The shoe hits me in the area I show in the photos even though it is a larger size, and after many kilometers it continues to hit me. I simply threw away 250 euros
Anyone interested in this specific shoe should definitely get it 2 sizes larger. I wear size 43 and I got size 43 and a quarter and it is very tight for me. For running 10 kilometers, it is a very comfortable and light shoe, but it is only for running, so do not think about getting it for walking. Orthopedic support
