The electric lock from the Italian company Viro S.p.A. is used for the automatic locking of opening doors, either automatic or manual, offering protection against tampering or vandalism. It is suitable for horizontal or vertical installation using the corresponding socket.

The VIRO V06 electric lock includes the lock mechanism with its key and a tongue socket for locking onto the post. There is the possibility for vertical installation using the appropriate socket. The use of an electric lock is recommended when the length of the door leaf exceeds 2.5 meters, increasing the security of the area.

• The option for single or double key depending on the application.
• The lock mechanically locks by rotating the tongue around the hinge.
• Unlocking with 12 VAC voltage or using a key.

Two operating modes are available:

• The lock unlocks and remains unlocked until the door leaf opens, suitable for automatic and manual doors.
• The lock unlocks only when the door leaf is opened simultaneously, suitable for specific conditions.

The electric lock is necessary when:

• The mechanism is not irreversible.
• The door leaf is more than 2.5 m long.
• It is exposed to strong winds.
• There is a risk of tampering.
• Increased security is required.
