  Excellent knife for all uses in camping, mountaineering, and the kitchen. It requires special attention at first because it is incredibly sharp. Prefer it especially for kitchen use. I would have preferred it with an even thinner blade for the kitchen; however, in general, this particular knife is suitable for all tasks. Keep in mind that the thicker the blade, the harder it is to peel or cut food (e.g., potatoes). In my opinion, this knife is the most useful in the series because it works for everything (except, of course, for batoning and particularly tough tasks)

  It's worth it, I've had it for years, I've pruned the trees in my garden many times without it suffering the slightest damage. I've mistreated it without ruining its blade. Even if something happens to it, it sharpens easily. There is no competition for its price. I also have its sibling with the thicker blade, but it's not as useful as this one here.
