It could suck a little harder! Cleaning the filter before each use will help a lot!
I bought the small vacuum cleaner from this company that has the sturdy metal tube in front of Praktiker. I got it for a pellet stove, it does a good job, it picks up everything, it's quite powerful, and it has a long cable. You can wash the filter and the protective fabric it has. For €30, it was just fine
It keeps getting clogged.... it's not worth anything..... I don't recommend it...... and the bad thing is that I didn't manage to return it
I just received the package and as you will see in the photos, the box looked like it had been kicked...the filter is bent inward...the issue is that the filter was inside the bin which means it didn't happen during transport but it was like this even before it left the store where the order was made...unacceptable in my opinion to send "damaged" parts while they can see them in the orders...that's why I will give one star because instead of being satisfied-happy, I am very upset...
The filter needs to be cleaned very often.. after 2 times that I cleaned the fireplace, the filter got clogged and stopped pulling.
The only negative is the operating noise, but the positives are the very powerful suction and the fact that no dust comes out of the container. I highly recommend it, it is definitely worth its money
I bought it this year for the wood stove. Very good for its price. Powerful motor. Its filters need cleaning with compressed air (at the gas station) every 5-6 vacuuming sessions to keep them clean. I recommend it!
Efficient vacuum cleaner for cleaning ashes from the fireplace. It has a large double filter that prevents the escape of ashes even when the bin is full.
It pulls quite well, but after each use, it needs cleaning to be reused and it has a small cable. Overall, it is good
Unique disadvantages: small cable and the fact that it requires "blowing" with air (for proper cleaning after 3-4 uses), so a visit to a gas station/garage is necessary to fill them all with ashes...
It does not pull strongly, it's a bit weak. For small stoves that I have, it does the job poorly. If you have a fireplace or large stoves or pellet burners, prefer a stronger one. The filters need frequent cleaning, which is logical
Very good product, it sucks very well. It doesn't need constant cleaning, it continues to pull well even after many uses! The only negative is that it makes a lot of noise and it doesn't have a prospect in Greek, but it doesn't matter, it's worth its money
Very powerful. It makes cleaning the fireplace and pellet stove a breeze. Be careful to clean the filter after 3 to 4 uses for pellets and every 2 fireplaces. Once is enough. Simple and easy to use. But really noisy. It lasts for 3 minutes, difficult to close like a Tupperware, I hope it is durable. It sucks amazingly, of course not hot, only when the fireplace and pellet stove have cooled down.
Good choice for the money.
If regular and proper maintenance (filter cleaning) is done, then I consider the value for money to be excellent
Very good and efficient. The only thing you need to be careful about as a buyer is that the filter needs cleaning at most every second use.
A decent little vacuum for its price. Of course, no one should expect it to clean up a mess like Hercules. It collects ashes.
Obviously, you use it when the fireplace is completely extinguished and you're not picking up charcoal or small pieces of wood.
But even if the hose gets clogged, it easily unscrews and empties.
It's good to clean the filter from time to time.
As for the negatives, the power cord is short and the suction hose is mediocre to small.
It's worth its money until the last euro. Reevaluation, after 6 months, while in the beginning it was flawless, now it gets clogged and doesn't absorb, it doesn't seem to exceed maybe it was for 3-4 uses
Apart from the strong sound and the small cable it has, I consider it a good economical cleaning solution for ashes and charcoal from the stove. Additionally, the fact that it is made in Italy (if it matters) is emphasized
Very good. I use it on a pellet burner, the only negative is the short cable and absorption rubber.
I got it for the pellet stove, and I really regret not buying it earlier! It is very powerful, lightweight, and cleans everything quickly.
Wasted money.... I chose it as the most popular on Skroutz and I regret not buying a more expensive model..... If this is the most popular, then how are the slightly inferior ones?? I had never had an ash vacuum before, but reading the reviews, I thought I could clean the entire fireplace after a day of use, but not even close... I hadn't even done half when it started clogging and not pulling efficiently.... I had to remove the ash with a shovel and simply use the vacuum for a final cleaning, and even then, it didn't suck up super well to say that it made it spotless... obviously, it's for those who have a decorative fireplace and burn 3-4 logs, but for me, who burns it all day, the shovel was still needed, so the vacuum was useless, just taking up space in the storage room.... and in the end (after just cleaning the edges for 3-4 minutes of use...), the motor was burning as if I had strained it for 5 hours...
Powerful vacuum cleaner with the ability to use a double filter so that no dust escapes during cleaning! Powerful motor! The only drawback is that it closes like a tupperware and I don't know if this will create problems over time... I highly recommend it!
We managed to get rid of the ash easily. Perfect vacuum cleaner, it blocks on the charcoal and it's logical, you extinguish it, shake the hose a little, the ashes go away and you continue your work undisturbed. Very good choice
Fully functional, it sucks up dust without any hassle and quickly. No more broom and dust in the living room... the only negative is the noise it makes, however, for the 2.5 minutes it takes to clean the fireplace, it doesn't bother me at all.
I have the GENERIX model. It is absolutely true what ArJedi has written. The vacuum cleaner is unbeatable. Very good construction, resistant to washing, very good suction. The only drawback (which all vacuums have) is the length of the cable. I added a permanent extension and solved the problem...
I recommend that the vacuum cleaner you want to buy definitely has a HEPA filter and cover... something that applies to the GENERIX.
P.S. As for the unrepentant traditionalists (broom-dusters), give it to yourself as a gift! (If you're married, you'll be saved from the lady's nagging!!!)
I just bought the product. I had no experience with any other ash vacuum, but it cleaned the fireplace full of ash and charcoal without any problem. Very good suction power and a filter with a protective cover, it definitely needs cleaning every two to three fireplaces. It closes well and doesn't release ashes while sucking. Overall, very satisfied. I highly recommend it.
