I bought this cooling pad for 17 euros for my Dell Inspiron 15 5510 with an i7, if my memory doesn't fail me.
The cooling pad does its job. Without having checked it, the temperature difference with the base is easily noticeable. I estimate up to 20 degrees lower depending on the function, and for one euro per inch, you can't say it's bad. It should be noted that it has some weaknesses. The fan cable is quite thin, and someone who frequently inserts and removes it, someone who transports the laptop multiple times a day, for example, WILL cut it over time. The supports protrude quite a bit and may bother some people. However, I, who exclusively use the keyboard of my device, did not notice any inconvenience, but someone who also uses the trackpad will struggle. I don't think there is a way to adjust the fan speed, and it is definitely not silent for those who are interested. Finally, it should be noted that it is not some kind of miracle product, right? If you put your laptop in its most powerful mode in the BIOS, it will likely overheat and crash. Finally, the power cable goes into a USB port and has a female USB on the other end, which means you technically don't lose the connection. However, in practice, whatever you connect to the port struggles a bit. I imagine it's fine for charging, but it loses a bit with peripherals and you will struggle with flash drives and disks. Of course, it may be a problem with mine, but it aligns with the idea of the product: cheap, easy, and good. Blindly, I bought this cooling pad since it fit my Laptop and I can confidently say that I am satisfied. It doesn't significantly lower the temperatures, but it is definitely no longer a cooking stove.
It doesn't make noise (or at least not noticeable noise compared to the Laptop), the build quality is definitely not something I would trust, but we're talking about something VERY cheap, so it is definitely a decent construction for its price and its height is ideal.Something I would like is for it to have an ON/OFF button so it doesn't work continuously (and without having to unplug the USB to make it stop)

I have it for a few weeks and it's perfect, with heat in a room without AC and while charging the laptop it does its job perfectly even though it doesn't seem like it. The laptop is 14" and fits comfortably on top and also has plenty of space on the side.
My only issue is that because the USB cable has its own USB port at the back, the cable is on the side, causing it to fall either on top of the charger cable or on top of the headphones, and I have to remove it in order for both to be plugged in at the same time, but it's mainly a laptop model issue and it does its job so well that it doesn't bother me.
