For over 4 years and it continues to operate flawlessly and mainly quietly. Better than the much more expensive cooler master that I threw away mainly due to noise. It is good to clean it approximately every year because, like everything, it collects dust and dirt inside.
Second time I buy it after years. I was very satisfied, great cooling and durability, completely silent.
It is stable and spacious for a 15.6' laptop, however the fan is extremely weak. By touching it, you don't even feel the air. Essentially, it is a perforated lifting platform that keeps the laptop away from the heated desk. Definitely not worth its money.
The cooling pad makes a slight noise. Personally, it doesn't bother me, but it's not completely silent. However, it keeps my laptop at normal temperatures, despite prolonged use while connected to a charger and an external monitor. Previously, the laptop would overheat so much that you couldn't use the keyboard. So far, I am satisfied with the performance of the cooling pad. However, since it is a new purchase, it will take time to evaluate its long-term durability and effectiveness.
It is really very good. A large fan connects directly to the laptop and keeps the computer cool. It is also comfortable, stable, and flexible in use with height adjustments.
After 3 months, no wear or malfunction has been observed. It continues to function even when the computer enters sleep mode, which I do not consider positive or negative.
It is quite good for its price. My first impressions are good. It cools down the laptop temperatures a lot (10-20 degrees). The only negative thing is that the fan can be heard a little, but personally it doesn't bother me as long as it's not loud.
I have it for over a year and it works like the first day (with daily use!!)
Excellent choice, very satisfied!!
I had exactly one like this, it lasted me 3 years and that's because its cable broke. Other than that, fan, comfort, everything was great and without hesitation I bought the same one again. I highly recommend it.
First experience is negative. Let me clarify that it does the job. The main drawback is that it makes noise, even when the laptop fans are running at 100%, it can still be heard, and I have a gaming laptop that makes a lot of noise, so when the fans are not running, it is quite noticeable. Also, it doesn't have a great airflow. Personally, it doesn't bother me, I just expected the cooling pads from powertech, which are half the price, to be like this, so I decided to get a slightly more expensive one to avoid such issues. I hope it at least lasts.
Update: I can't stand it, I only open it for gaming because otherwise it's very annoying
Nice stand with a beautiful design. The laptop doesn't slip, it is supported very well. The fan can be heard a little, so most of the time I have it closed, only if the laptop gets very hot will I turn it on. It is powered by a bypass USB 2.0 connector.
It does its job, but the build quality is not as excellent as some describe it!! Value for money, that's it!!! Also, it fits up to a 16" laptop. For a 17" one, it passed and didn't touch!!!
It does a relatively good job in terms of cooling, but it is quite noisy. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought it.
Excellent base for the cost. Very good construction, useful front supports and the three support positions are very functional. I bought two. In one laptop that was overheating, especially in the summer, I saw a significant difference with the fan function. In the other laptop, I only use the fan when needed. The noise is minimal and does not bother.
First time in many summers with consecutive 40-degree heatwaves, I was forced to purchase a cooling pad for my 17-inch Gaming Laptop, which was now frying steaks.
Blindly, I bought this cooling pad since it fit my Laptop and I can confidently say that I am satisfied. It doesn't significantly lower the temperatures, but it is definitely no longer a cooking stove.
It doesn't make noise (or at least not noticeable noise compared to the Laptop), the build quality is definitely not something I would trust, but we're talking about something VERY cheap, so it is definitely a decent construction for its price and its height is ideal.
Something I would like is for it to have an ON/OFF button so it doesn't work continuously (and without having to unplug the USB to make it stop)
I have it for a few weeks and it's perfect, with heat in a room without AC and while charging the laptop it does its job perfectly even though it doesn't seem like it. The laptop is 14" and fits comfortably on top and also has plenty of space on the side.
My only issue is that because the USB cable has its own USB port at the back, the cable is on the side, causing it to fall either on top of the charger cable or on top of the headphones, and I have to remove it in order for both to be plugged in at the same time, but it's mainly a laptop model issue and it does its job so well that it doesn't bother me.
5 years of use, it works perfectly until today with many continuous hours of use, mainly for gaming. I highly recommend it without hesitation.
I haven't had it for long, but it has a strong fan, so the laptop is cool and I am satisfied.
I have been using it for a month, it is quiet and does a good job as my laptop used to get hot.
You can adjust the legs to three levels.
It is generally useful and worth the money
Very good cooler
I have it for 3+ years
I have only opened it once for cleaning
The little ears couldn't handle it and fell off. Not silent after all this time, but if it broke now, I would buy a new one again.
4 stars because the fan is not as powerful as I expected. However, it still does its job.
The ultimate value for money base!
The fan is very powerful, I mean, I can put my hands close to it and it cools me down!
My 17-inch Toshiba laptop fits perfectly (it protrudes 2 centimeters from each side but it doesn't affect anything because the laptop's feet rest on the base).
It has 3 elevation levels.
In the middle one, I don't even need to use the 2 stoppers. The laptop doesn't slip at all.
I have had it for about 3 weeks, the air doesn't come out with much force BUT my laptop on the surface that comes in contact with the base is literally frozen, so I don't think there is a problem.
The size is more than enough for my laptop (15.6"), the only negative thing I have to say is that it makes a little noise and I mainly notice it during quiet evening hours, but it doesn't bother me much.
Good airflow, small size. For a 15-inch, it is because a part of it has plastic under the grill, so no air comes out.
It does the job in terms of cooling, but when it's quiet (e.g. not when playing games), the fan is unbearable.
I bought the fan for my second laptop, which I usually push to its limits due to work.
The first impressions are as follows:
Positives
- Noticeable drop in temperature compared to the previous Turbox fan I had (17-inch) at maximum power.
- An extra USB port.
- The cable is a simple male-male USB, so even if it gets damaged, it is easy to replace.
Negatives
- If you don't lift the feet due to the design, the base wobbles.
- It only has 2 height settings, and the small one provides a tilt of about 10 degrees.
- The sound at full power is audible and slightly annoying.
Conclusion
For €14, it is worth it as a cooler and it performs very well without any special features, but I would prefer to buy something better (although it is worth it for the purpose I need it for)
I wanted a stand since the use is continuous. I didn't have one until now and the results are amazing, the laptop doesn't heat up at all.
It is quite good for its price. The big plus is the legs for height, but the corresponding ones on the cooler to hold the laptop from slipping down. What bothers me a little is that the connection cable to the laptop is quite thin, so if someone makes a sudden movement, it can break. For the purchase price, I am satisfied.
Everything is good, just a bit noisy! Beautiful, high-quality and sturdy, but personally I can't leave it on at night because the noise is annoying.
