If you want it to heat as an exclusive source of heat, don't buy it. It takes a long time to warm up, we're talking about 4-5 hours and it doesn't exactly heat, it just breaks the humidity and the extreme cold. As a supplementary option, it is very good. Also, it is cheap (€48) and it is very lightweight. It needs a red cable, otherwise it will drop the current.
It heats up immediately once you turn it on and is completely silent.
I tried it in a 16 square meter room and within half an hour the temperature rose from 18 to 23.
Be careful, during the first use it is good to be in an outdoor space for about 15' to get rid of the bad smell it emits. After that, it doesn't smell at all.
It is an amazing product, completely silent and very efficient. What I suggest: use both resistors (2kw) and keep the switches on 2 (low) all the time. You will have a stable temperature and it will turn on and off every little while.
Message to the company:
You have created this wonderful thing. Is it possible to be accompanied by a CHEAP AND POOR QUALITY PHOTOCOPY for the user instructions? How much does a good print of your product instructions cost? It is a shame.
I live in a place with excessive humidity and in an old house without insulation... I got 2 convectors for 50 square meters, because the spaces are separate and I place them at 3 to 4... I reach 20 degrees Celsius... Silent, sweet warmth, zero humidity... I can't estimate the electricity because they turn off automatically... I estimate around 1000 kilowatt-hours per month...
Quite good in terms of performance, I have placed it in a large room with relatively good insulation and it heats satisfactorily given the space. As for the consumption, I don't know yet since I've only had it for a month. I will get back to you...
I believe that the Serton heater is the best heater I have ever purchased. Absolutely silent and in a 25 square meter room, it heats the space very quickly and very satisfactorily. I highly recommend it.
The addition of the word mica in the product name, although there seems to be no trace of mica in the product, has elements of exaggeration....
It smells... when you turn on the second level... I haven't tried leaving it on the balcony for an hour to see if the smell stops...!!
Reading the comments is something I did not expect for its performance, but it disproves all of us who did not believe it would be capable of quickly heating a room of 20-25 square meters. Another excellent Greek product
Very powerful product. It helped me heat a large space with many losses from old-type windows, etc., in combination with radiators (oil) without having to sell my second kidney for oil. I recommend it for spaces up to 30 square meters, which it can heat very quickly on its own.
I have installed two heaters in my country house in a 50 sqm studio open space. One at one end and the other at the opposite end of the house. They work exceptionally well. They heat the house very quickly. In normal weather conditions with an outside temperature of 10-14C, I set them to one temperature setting. When I want immediate and quick warmth, I set both to the higher setting. They are very lightweight, and the thermostat works really perfectly and accurately. Excellent product, and there was no excess in electricity consumption from what was perfectly expected.
Very lightweight, heats the room quickly, I have it on one step at 1250w
It heats a 16sqm bedroom adequately very quickly. It has 2 levels and intensity settings from 1-6. We have never put it on full.
Very powerful transmitter, heats an insulated space of 25sqm to 21 on the 750w scale steadily. Quality of construction is fair. I recommend it
Today I received the product, after reading its good reviews.
I operated it for half an hour in the room with the balcony door open to let the smell from the first use dissipate.
It heats very nicely (of course, I will have to see how it performs in the really cold weather), it is lightweight and seems safe in its operation.
I considered it as a solution so I don't have to burn the radiator all night to keep the room I sleep in from freezing, which is north-facing and has no insulation on one wall.
I hope that the purchase will not disappoint me.
I used it in winter on days with moderate cold. It warmed up a 12sqm room satisfactorily. It produces a very nice heat instantly, it is completely silent, it doesn't smell bad when heating up and its thermostat works. I am very satisfied!!! As for consumption, I don't know how much it burns, but according to the bills, I didn't have a drastic increase.
It's worth the money. I use it in a living room-dining room combined space along with the hallway, and it heats up just fine for its size.
When I received the box, I said... oh no! It was too light. When I took it out of the packaging, it only had two legs to attach and two leaflets. I thought to myself, will this radiator in feather category do the job? And it did!! At first, it had a smell from the materials used, but it disappeared after I opened the window for a while.
The room is in a northern region with snow that easily reaches below zero. Northern Greece, in short. The thought of taking off my socks hadn't even crossed my mind. When I leave for work, I set it to 3 -halfway- and at 700 watts, and it works perfectly. It doesn't freeze the bedroom, and when I turn it up, a sweet warmth immediately comes. I would buy it again with my eyes closed. No need for Wi-Fi and extras that I ultimately don't need. It's enough for me to be satisfactorily warm. As a negative, the relatively short cable can be solved with an extension.
Very good choice for heating a small student room of about 18sqm. The air conditioner couldn't do anything, but this heater is a beast despite its small size. I haven't measured the consumption yet, but it can heat the room even with the first setting of 700Watt. At 2000Watt, it blows me away with its heat, the child said. I will come back when I have electricity consumption data.
Very good for its price, I have had it for 10 days and I turn it on every night from 00:00 to 07:00 in the morning. Usually, when I turn it on, the room is at 18 degrees and I set it to reach 21 degrees. I put it on 2000 watts for 20 minutes and then I set it to 4 on the thermostat and turn off the main switch, and it works all night at 750 watts. So far, with the January price of 0.15€, it has cost me 5.5€ in 10 days (I have installed a socket with a meter).
Heats up fully, comfortably covering areas up to 25-30 square meters. To activate the third level of 2000 Watts, you press both switches. It is quiet, odorless, and although I haven't measured it accurately yet, the consumption is definitely lower than a radiator with heating rods. In fact, because it has the Mica heating surface on the front and back covers of the device, wherever you place it, it heats up fully from both sides. So it's better to have it in the middle rather than in front of a wall. I have had it for two weeks and I am very satisfied.
I bought this specific heater after reading the positive comments. It is definitely worth the money and more. It heats up a 30sqm space very well, even on the top floor with poor insulation. It is completely silent and doesn't smell at all. I bought two more for my own people.
I initially placed it in a 25 square meter room with the thermostat set to maximum and it took 4-5 hours to warm up. No relation to what I read in the reviews. Before returning it, I put it in a 10 square meter bedroom and it is perfect for that size. It warms up immediately and emits a very healthy heat. It is completely silent and lightweight. In the end, I did not return it because I am lazy with procedures and kept it for the bedroom.
I bought this model and the 342 for a 24sqm room with high ceilings and poor insulation. This room has two radiators, so I also installed two electric heaters. So far, one is enough. It doesn't heat the room quickly, but at a satisfactory rate for its size. As a test, I turned on both heaters and we definitely won't have a problem this winter since we won't use oil. I also installed it in a fairly small room (maybe 2m x 3m) and it immediately warmed up the space. It's easy to operate with the option of 1250W or 750W or both together. So far, I haven't needed to use it at 2000W. I am very satisfied and have already recommended it to acquaintances.
It lasted me a whole winter. It warmed up my 35sqm house on its own at a temperature of 21 degrees. The expected consumption in terms of the electricity bill was as predicted (€350). Now it is connected to gas and I have it for emergencies. It is definitely worth it.
For the money it has and how it performs, it is the best. I have put it in the bedroom, it heats up quickly and quietly. Overall, it does the job for a small space.
Heats up quickly and satisfactorily
I have it in a 20sqm space and I prefer it over the air-co I have there.
True heating from the device. The air-co just blows air.
I set it to maximum at first (on 6 with both switches on) and it immediately warms up the space, then I leave it with one switch on (750w) and set it to 2-3, and it keeps the space continuously warm, to the point where you forget it's freezing outside.
And in a measurement I did, it consumes even less electricity than it says.
Disadvantage: If you are sleeping, it is quiet and the slightest noise can disturb you; the expansion/contraction of the metal can be bothersome.
For now, without having a complete opinion on the consumption which will range within 2000w depending on how much you use it, it heats up very quickly (room of 18 sq.m. with poor insulation), it is quiet and lightweight. Construction-wise, it seems to be "cheap" but ultimately I don't think that's the case because so far it does its job tirelessly. I recommend it for someone who wants to quickly heat up a space up to 20 sq.m.
I bought one and after trying it, I bought a second one.
It heats up quickly and provides a very nice, sweet warmth in the room.
Be careful with usage because no matter how you do it, 2000 watts is a high power consumption.
I recommend starting with full operation and both switches with the thermostat at 6, and after the room warms up in about 20 minutes, reduce it to 4.
The thermostat closes and opens satisfactorily automatically, allowing for energy savings.
I bought 2 pieces last year.
We use it on both stairs to heat the room and during sleep on one stair at 750w.
The room has moderate to poor insulation. It creates a beautifully cozy atmosphere throughout the winter. Only on very cold snowy days does it take a while, but it's very reasonable.
I was very satisfied with the device and ordered 4 more pieces for the village and the shop.
Simple construction without gadgets like Wi-Fi and remote control.
Great convenience with the two heating stairs at 750 and 1250w for energy saving, and a thermostat that stops the operation as soon as it reaches the temperature.
Very lightweight, easy to transport.
Above all, it is of Greek origin.
