When I see comments that it leaks when you turn it upside down and there are also photos with the straw open, I want to cry. You have a closed cup tightly sealed to prevent leaks all around, so you can suck in whatever air it needs from somewhere... simple things don't require you to have a degree in nuclear physics. As we will see, there is a plastic on the straw that protrudes and when you push it down, it closes the hole and you can shake it without it leaking. The construction is excellent and if you take care of it and don't leave it closed with coffee and water, it won't break or anything.
My initial experience with the product was excellent! I would fill it with hot water in the morning and still find the ice cubes intact in the afternoon. Even hot beverages would remain warm for at least 5 hours. It had zero leaks, which I found fantastic because even with other thermoses, there would still be some leakage, especially when inside a bus.
The only dysfunctional part was the spout, which was very difficult to clean. Even a thin straw couldn't fit inside, resulting in coffee residue being trapped. Additionally, the detachable part from the straw would sometimes fall into the bottle, forcing me to open the thermos and search for it in the hot coffee, making it impossible to take a sip without making a mess and burning my hands. Clearly a drawback, but I thought, for the price of €12 including shipping, it's not a big deal.
However, a week later, the plastic piece on the lid, where the spout touches when closed, came off, leaving a small hole through which the contents would leak if there were any vibrations or if the thermos was filled to the top. So, the leak-proof feature, which was the most important for me, was gone. Now I'm stuck with a thermos that I can't take outside because it risks ruining my bag. The spout is not convenient, and the straw keeps falling off. I now only use it inside the house and unscrew the lid when I want to drink.
If the materials in key areas are replaced with more durable ones, then I would definitely consider buying it again. Until then, I will prefer something maybe more expensive but more reliable!
First, I will respond to those who say that the brush does not fit through the nozzle of the straw. It fits and cleans just fine, you just need to find the right angle to get it through the nozzle, close it a bit or open it, it goes through 100%. There are no leaks and 10 hours later when my partner comes home, there are still ice cubes inside.
It's quite good, but its lid doesn't clean relatively easily because the brush that comes in the package doesn't reach the mechanism that opens and closes
Very useful! I would prefer the straw not to be integrated. If you are used to thin straws, the Fredo can be a bit difficult to adjust to. It comes with a cleaning brush for the straw.
Quality is good, but if you lose the silicone cap that I have circled in the photo, it becomes useless and leaks if it is laid down. There is no replacement available.
Perfect thermos for any drink - hot or cold. In the summer, during the heatwave, it definitely keeps the drink cold for 6 hours. Large enough to comfortably fit a quadruple cold espresso with plenty of ice. For hot drinks, I prefer to remove the internal straw. It also includes a brush for cleaning the cap, the holes, and the straw. No leaks no matter how much you handle it.
The new version with the gray lid is quite better. Quality and nice. The price is equal to the quality.
Very good with cold drinks!! The ice cubes stay almost whole for up to 15 hours after. I haven't tried it with hot drinks..
Better than Chilly's and more economical.
Keeps ice cubes for hours without melting too much.
Perfect for cold drinks, hasn't been tested for hot ones.
I got it relatively recently, but I use it every day. It's very good! It doesn't leak at all, I put it inside my bag and go around, it keeps my coffee cold for many hours! It also fits in the car cup holder, important for me! The color is wonderful!
It keeps the coffee cold for several hours, but it has a problem with leaks. If you leave it loose in a bag, a lot of the contents will definitely spill into the bag!
It has a cleaning brush for the straw! It doesn't leak and the coffee stays cold for many hours! The best thing!
Since I bought it, it has been my go-to for frappes... for a year now. It was purchased in the summer and here we are in the second summer. I put ice cubes in it at 8 when I wake up, and they melt around 12-1 when I make my second coffee, and I fill it up with ice cubes. I drink the coffee until 6, and the ice cubes are still inside, and I return home around 9 where I wash it and it still has ice cubes inside... It goes into my bag every day with stuff for the gym, another thermos for water, and a food bowl. Its color hasn't faded yet despite the 2 summers it has followed me to the sea... I am satisfied, I also enjoy the thermos for water, and I have an AEK set... pen...
It keeps the temperature for several hours. However, the bottom rusted very quickly. Also, the spout leaks very often. I would not choose it again
Its downsides are that the lid opens very difficultly and it leaks from the side. I wouldn't buy it again.
I had bought it before and used it for coffee. I do not recommend it for coffee, I couldn't clean the bottom well. It is good for water. Just if you leave it on its side, it leaks..... no matter how tightly you screw it. For inside the house and for transporting it in an upright position, it is just fine.
Absolutely satisfied. I used this bottle all summer and on vacation during a heatwave. If you put cold water in it, it keeps it cold for several hours. I don't know if it keeps it cold for 12 hours because you drink 500ml much faster and then refill it! I got this one with apples and it's very beautiful. If the cap closes well, there are no leaks. At one point, when water spilled while I had it in my bag, I checked it and it hadn't closed properly. I only use it for water.
Very nice design and keeps ice for a long time, but you definitely can't put it in a bag. I had the first solid colors and got this one because the thicker rubber at the mouth seemed quite promising, but it... spills in the bag. I have it closed, screwed on, with a closed lid, straw, and of course UPRIGHT in the bag in a way that it doesn't fall, but still, after a while, the water (or even worse, the coffee) rises and creates something like a puddle that runs around the area near the closed straw. It has ruined several of my bags no matter how careful I am. In conclusion, it looks nice and keeps the drink at a good temperature, but you have to hold it like a glass, it doesn't go in the dishwasher, it's difficult to clean, and you can't put it in bags, luggage, etc., so it defeats its original purpose
10 hours later it still has kept the ice cubes.
It's exactly what it says, it keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot… but it's completely UNCOMFORTABLE, it barely fits in any car that has the cup holders down because the bottom sticks out a bit and instead of sitting steadily, it wobbles because it's too tall…. What a shame, as nice as it is, it's just as uncomfortable. Get the other one from the same company that's for hot drinks, that one is more convenient.
The straw had an issue! When you drink, it feels like it's losing air from somewhere and makes noise. In the second product I bought, I had no problems at all
My favorite
I also got your small mug
it's perfect!!
The ice cubes take a long time to melt in the cold and the hot coffee takes a long time to cool down and it doesn't get dirty
Excellent purchase, I haven't tried it with hot beverages yet, but I am very satisfied with the cold ones, refreshing for up to 12 hours?
I have not received a worse thermos...!!! especially with cold coffee, in 1 hour it had already started to warm up and not in a heatwave (26 degrees in the shade)..... shame for such a price!!!
very good and keeps the coffee cold without the ice melting frozen water from the fridge without ice inside and it was after 6 hours at the same temperature ... a little brush for the straw was included in the package and it cleans it perfectly very good I will definitely buy another one
These thermoses from the stove are honestly the best I've ever had!!! The ice cubes do not melt at all!!!
I haven't tried it with hot drinks, but in cold beverages, the ice cubes just lasted 12 hours in the coffee. Top!
Within a month of use, it was used only 5 times and rusted from the inside.. much ado about nothing.
Initial impressions are very good. Personally, since I don't care about waterproofing, I have removed the plastic in the center of the lid, as well as the inner straw, and I put a plastic straw there instead. I don't use its own straw at all.
The photo with the ice cubes is taken after 5 hours, in good environmental conditions (25 degrees in the office) but after a 40-minute journey on the scooter in the summer.
Very useful and reliable. It keeps the temperature for hours. I use it for cold coffee and I am completely satisfied.
Very good thermos!!! Compared to other more expensive thermoses I have bought, it is just as good I would say! Durable even with the "tumbles" as I have a baby and it often falls down, it doesn't have a single scratch so far..
