The Rise of the Ghost
Jin was raised with the principles of the samurai. When the Mongol army easily defeated the samurai, Jin's world was shaken. In his quest to reclaim Tsushima, Jin must seek the guidance and support of old friends and new unlikely allies. He must break away from tradition, become a new kind of warrior, and protect what remains of his homeland and people at any cost.
Through Fire and Iron
The enemy is unpredictable and insurmountable in war and weapons. Gain the upper hand by adapting Jin's skills and learning new tactics to defend the island and protect the people of Tsushima. Challenge opponents head-on in melee combat with your katana for an immersive samurai battle experience. Master the bow to eliminate distant threats with deadly precision. Develop tactics of surprise and deception to confuse and ambush the enemy with sudden attacks.

The truth is that I was late to get it and I wanted it very much. So far, I have played for several hours, but not enough to give an opinion about the story. I am still very early on.
In terms of gameplay, it's okay. Sometimes I get confused with other games and press the wrong buttons, but I'm getting used to it. It's fairly easy.
What disappoints me, especially for a game that is exclusive to PlayStation and only 2 years old, is that they didn't work enough on the details. It's like they rushed to release it.
While the characters have a very good design, the face capture during speech looks like a PS3 game. It looks plastic. No expression. Games like Days Gone, Tomb Raider, and Uncharted 4, although older, have flawless face capture. The graphics, although very beautiful, also lose out on details. You run through vegetation and instead of swaying, it just stays still, passes through you, or moves completely independently of the wind gusts. When riding through a bamboo forest, you pass through it as if it's ethereal. I don't expect it to be like RDR2, but it could have been better.
During battles with enemies, you slaughter a bunch of them and the infinite blood that splatters just disappears when it hits the ground. You stab them with a sword, but the detail doesn't show like in other older games. It's as if you didn't even hurt them. Also, in sword fights, limbs, heads, etc. should be falling off in finishing moves. Instead, nothing happens. They just get covered in blood. The finishers in The Witcher 3 are on a completely different level.
I also switched the menu to English because the Greek translation in some parts looks like Google Translate.
Although the wind helps you find your way, there could at least be a bar at the top of the screen to guide you. It's not ideal to constantly check the map or swipe the touchpad to find your way.
Also, I don't know why you can't skip dialogues and cinematics.
Despite these negatives, I don't think it will disappoint people. On the contrary, you will enjoy it. The background music is very nice. As someone who loves Japanese culture, I am thrilled with its music.
This underrated masterpiece is an ode to Japanese culture and heritage. It is a love letter to the rich and multifaceted legacy of feudal Japan, also known as the Samurai/Ninja era, which has been beloved by countless people around the world.
Considering the above, we can understand the level of respect and passion that has been put into creating this game, which is reflected in the vibrant and diverse world of GoT. Each region, elevation, and more showcases a different aspect of the world.
Nature breathes through both its palette and the game's beautiful graphics, which contribute to the immersive visual spectacle that urges you to explore endlessly on horseback.
The combat system is literally multi-layered, modern, and fresh, divided into categories and levels, and of course, the personal approach to battle (and the game in general) as either a Samurai or a Ghost/thief (Ninja).
It is an epic journey that spans hours, with a fantastic story that transports you to that era, making you feel the emotions of excitement, anger, adrenaline, and hope. The music, scenes, plot, and voice acting all come together to create a narrative that could easily be considered a movie and even receive recognition. From the beginning to the OSCAR-worthy finale of the main story.
In summary, it belongs in the top five of the best games of the PS4/5 generation. It is one of the few unforgettable masterpieces of recent years, achieving a 9 and 10 in EVERY aspect of the game.
P.S: I've been reading that it is a "copy" of AC, but guys, there is no connection, no resemblance whatsoever. These two games are not related in any way. If it resembles any game, it would be Shinobido: The way of the ninja for the PS2.
It could easily have been game of the year if it wasn't competing with The Last of Us. One of the best games I have ever played in my life. There is nothing bad to say about the game. It is flawless in every aspect.
It is a good game with several negatives that, if they listen to the feedback, will gradually become a top title... So far, it is definitely worth the money, it is a very good game, but only up to that point
Another PlayStation behemoth. Exceptional graphics, incredible soundtrack, addictive gameplay, and a story that stands worthy in such a grand history like that of the Samurai of Japan. Whether you're a fan or not, you will enjoy this visual feast from start to finish. A must-have title for PS console owners.
One of the best I have played so far!!!
You will emotionally connect with the story.
It's worth the money!
The only thing that bothered me is that in many cases the opponents were literally bots, but overall it deserves 5/5
I am a big fan since they were released, I am probably in love with the Assassin's Creed series which I have been playing since it was released in 2007. I believed that I wouldn't find a better game beyond this series. I was wrong. Ghost of Tsushima is the best game I have ever played, it's worth every euro I spent.!!!! Blindfolded, guys!!!
Epic... Everyone has talked about the technical aspect, so there's no reason for me to mention it. I really liked the concept of the game and its atmosphere. It's definitely a must for every PS4 owner. The only doubt people have about Ghost of Tsushima is the "dose" of arcade it has... Come on, guys, it's a game, it doesn't need to be so difficult or realistic... If someone wants completely realistic animations and a challenge, they should look at something from Fromsoftware. As we all know, Sucker Punch releases arcade games that make them fun to play and they do it very well :) Enjoy and have a great time playing
EPIC!!! Graphics are amazing!!! Gameplay is powerful!!! And the atmosphere is wordless!!! For fans of open world and Japanese philosophy in general, you can take it with closed eyes (play it on hard mode, it elevates the game)
