  There are reviews that mention that the older versions (orange packaging) were of higher quality, but I haven't noticed any difference between them. Generally, I feel that they "dull" after the 2nd-3rd shave and I would expect something better for their cost. In any case, if kept clean, they can be used many times, it just requires more passes for a close shave. If there were serious competition in the 5-blade razors, I might rate them more harshly.

  I use the product to shave my head. I have used the Mach3 before the Fusion5 and for head shaving, it is not as useful as the Mach3, as the 5 blades in such a small surface clog the blades and do not clean easily. The Mach3 is the best out of all Gillette products.

  Possibly the best razor for those who want a quick everyday shave without high demands for a close shave. Although in recent years (after 2018) I have been using traditional shaving machines with classic double-edged razors, I have to admit that the Fusion ProGlide is worth being the razor for daily shaving.
  Here are the positives and negatives:
  Positives:
  1. Shaving speed. Wet your face, apply foam, wait 30 seconds, and start shaving. You're done in 3 minutes.
  2. Satisfactory closeness of shave.
  3. Forgiving for inexperienced users. Rarely will you cut yourself.
  4. Does not cause irritation.
  Negatives:
  1. The replacement blades are expensive.
  2. Each replacement blade lasts at most 10-15 shaves. Then it pulls the hairs.
  3. If your hairs are really tough and more than 3 days long on the chin and mustache, you will struggle.
  4. If you're looking for a truly close shave, this is not the right razor. Even if it has 5 blades... Even if you try hard, you won't see results. Waste of time.

  Overall, an excellent razor, truly suitable for people who don't have the time, desire, or experience for more serious shaving solutions (traditional shaving). Safe and user-friendly despite the high operating cost.

The mechanism it has helps a lot and overall it provides an easy and good shave. As for the pros, the back blade it has for detailed areas. It loses one star due to the high cost of replacements.

  Soldier, I shave every day. It is indeed the best, but only for 5 shaves. No durability at all, in two weeks you hurt, not kidding. Not even if the blades were made of plastic. Compared to the Bic 5 blades that I tried to see the difference, they hold up for sure for a month. I won't buy it again.

  Considering its price and the fact that it needs to be replaced every year or so, I can say that it is barely worth it.

  On one hand, it has some technologies that are very helpful for shaving, such as the flexible mechanism for changing the direction of the entire head or the 5 blades with which it is equipped. However, I cannot justify its high price. For me, it would be more beneficial if they could offer it in packages of 2 or 3 with a generous discount. A whole new body with blades costs around 10 euros, so it would make sense for me to find the blades at most half the price.

  Commenting on my experience with this product over the past 2 years, I can say the following:
  • It is water-resistant, even to hot water, as long as I do a small preparation (3-4 minutes soaking) before shaving.
  • I have tried it with both gel and foam shaving products from Gillette, and it does a good job without clogging.
  • With hair up to a maximum of 3 days, or maybe 4 at most, it performs excellently. From that point onwards, you will need to first use a trimmer and then shave, otherwise you risk cutting yourself, damaging the razor, and spending more than 30 minutes over the sink.
  • The hot water I mentioned earlier helps in better disinfection of the blades in case you cut yourself, even if it's just a little, and you don't notice it. 1 minute before shaving and 1 minute after, and you can be sure to avoid infections.
