In the small town of Dream Harbor, the café Pumpkin Spice has a new owner, Jeanie. Her aunt inherited the café, and after a series of unfortunate events in her life, she decides to move to this small town and make a fresh start. Logan, the incredibly sexy and handsome farmer of the small town, carries a heavy psychological burden and wants nothing to do with getting involved in a new relationship that might end badly. However, mysterious sounds at night in the café will force him to help Jeanie discover what is happening and perhaps assist her in whatever she needs to acclimate. Love was definitely not in the plan, but it’s hard to avoid it amidst the aromas of pumpkin spice coffee, autumn festivals, a white cat named Casper, wonderful people who will become your closest friends, and a pair of blue eyes that Jeanie simply cannot resist.
It was a sweet, highly atmospheric read, and you know how much I love small towns and interconnected stand-alones. So I will continue soon with the next ones as I became very attached to the characters! The only thing that bothered me was the miscommunication trope that drove me crazy. Other than that, it was wonderful! I recommend it especially for autumn ️
To end up with this book in my hands, I was captivated by the beautiful cover and of course all the advertising. As a read, it seems ideal for young ages. Very accessible for me, but definitely if you need something feel good, it's okay!
