    This is the first product I am buying from Govee. I didn't know exactly what to expect. I think it is very beautiful either for the office or for a nightstand next to the bed.

    I wouldn't say it's suitable for reading; it's more for beauty and effects. But it also depends on where it is placed and at what intensity it is set - at 100% it definitely gives off enough brightness for reading, but that's not its intended use.

    edit: 12/18/2024 - It has special scenes (Illumination) that are perfect for reading, etc., for anyone who wants it, e.g., on a nightstand.

    It has a lot of color and movement combinations. The buttons on top are so-so; it's easier to control from the app.

    It connects very easily with the Govee app via Bluetooth and WiFi. I couldn't get it to work with Matter no matter how hard I tried; maybe I'm missing something.
