Initially, I struggled a lot to assemble it because the notches were not in the right position. The little iron used to hold it on the door frame is made of plastic... it doesn't hold it at all. And although I had a similar one in the past, this particular one did not fit on any door in the house because it was crooked.

I put two type G screws to hold it and still it is not possible for someone to do a pull-up. It can be used for floor exercises.

Personally speaking, out of the five doors in my house, it doesn't fit ANY of them!! I suggest you not make this purchase because you won't have the option to return it!! That's all for its use as a pull-up bar. Now its only advantage is that it can be used as a base for arm and chest bends and for dips. In closing, I want to emphasize that even if you find some kind of protection to apply, if you weigh over 70 kilos, you will feel insecure hanging on it. That's it, DO NOT BUY IT!

Did you find this review helpful?If the door frame is somewhat thick, then the door pull-up bar does not reach to attach to the upper (horizontal) frame. What I did was take a plank of the same dimensions (L-W-H) as the plastic part of the pull-up bar that is placed (rests) on the horizontal frame, drilled holes in the same spots, and replaced the 2 specific screws with ones twice as long.
So, after tightening them, I installed it on the door and it was fine. Something like this: https://ibb.co/album/dS5Yva
The only thing that bothered me is the point where the two rods are connected. If you want to do pull-ups with a closed grip, this point experiences a lot of tension.
For now, everything is fine. I use it almost every day.
Update: February 2021: The rubber at the points of the handles has come off from use.
