- This review is about a variation of the product
I got it today. Very good and nice design. Full 80s but with many features. The only downside is not the watch's. It's mine. I have a bit of presbyopia. Due to the dark screen, I turn on the light in low lighting to see clearly.
Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful? I have had this particular watch for a little while now.
Pros:
1) Retro design, matches all styles.
2) Larger (finally!) in size compared to the simple ones in the series, so a better size for men's wrists. The case is metallic, not plastic.
3) Mine was purchased from abroad. It is made in Thailand and the bracelet is made in China. I have no opinion about the Greek market; if any friend has bought it from here, please write in the comments. The bracelet does not pull hair (at least on my wrist).
4) It tracks steps and has a connection to the mobile phone where it can sync the time. Also, via Bluetooth, it has a phone finder and you can set the watch and set alarms.
5) 5 alarms, countdown timer, stopwatch with lap storage, second time zone.
6) Very lightweight on the wrist, feels like you’re not even wearing it.
7) Waterproof, I haven't tried it in the sea; I generally avoid wearing watches in the sea.
8) Quality construction (like all Casio, obviously).
9) It has a night light option that can be set to turn on for 1.5 or 3 seconds. It is in orange color.
10) It has a power save mode.
Cons:
1) Short battery life (around 2 years); fortunately, the battery is cheap (CR2016) and can be changed by oneself. It also has a power save mode that, if activated, turns off the display at night and saves battery.
2) I wouldn’t say it’s particularly convenient for people with presbyopia. The numbers are small, and you definitely need glasses to see the time.
3) If you have a very large wrist, it will still look small on your hand, so you might want to choose another one.
4) Plastic crystal, it will definitely scratch easily with any impact. In summary, it is a good and quality watch for those who do not want smartwatches and like the retro design. In my opinion, its price is a bit steep, although all Casio watches have increased in price in recent years (unjustifiably)
